Awesome Family Vacation Lodge - 7 minutes du centre-ville de Blowing Rock, Caroline du Nord

arge, maison de montagne bien entretenue à quelques kilomÚtres du coeur de Blowing Rock. La maison a de beaux hauts plafonds, deux cheminées à bois. Planchers de bois franc dans toute la maison. Garage 2 voitures, cour utilisable, granit dans la cuisine et les bains. Sous-sol superbement aménagé pour recevoir toute la famille avec cuisine supplémentaire et salle de jeux. Grande terrasse aux deux étages. Hot tub 8 personnes sur le pont au 2Úme étage avec vue sur la montagne. 3 chambres à coucher. Master a un lit queen size avec une immense salle de bain principale. 2Úme chambre a 2 lits queen, salle de bains est dans le couloir. La 3Úme chambre a 2 lits jumeaux avec une salle de bain privée.
Il y a aussi un canapé-lit dans le salon.

This is our fourth time staying at this property. We love how big the house is, the game room is always a hit and the proximity to the parkway. We will defiantly be back!

Plenty of room to spread out

We had a fantastic stay at this large mountain home. The open layout and rustic charm made it feel like a true getaway, much more comfortable and private than a hotel or condo.The game room was a huge hit. Ping pong and billiards kept everyone entertained for hours. Sadly, the foosball table was out of commission, and the pool cues had seen better days (missing tips), but the overall experience was still enjoyable.With a few small fixes, this place would be absolutely perfect, but even as-is we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for families looking for space, fun, and a true mountain escape.

Beautiful home in great area

The house was very spacious and clean with lots of games and books when we weren't out on the trails. The listing mentioned it being close to a stream or pond. There was one down the road but not adjacent to the property. I may have misunderstood that part. We saw turkeys, deer, and fireflies almost every night. Thanks for the great time!

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this cabin. IT WAS WONDERFUL

We had a fabulous Christmas holiday with alot of activities. The cabin was lovely and very serene. I went out side and it was so quiet. The deer came up in the yard. I want to come back in the spring

Amazing mountain house

Big house with beautiful scenery. Lots of space. Master bedroom and bath were awesome. Want to stay there again soon. Lots of space and beds for a big family.

Mountain retreat

Great place for a family reunion. The first time in on the mountain road can be a bit daunting for a flatlander, but that soon passes. Lots of room and lots to do. Convenient to blowing rock and other attractions.

Horrible Stay!

DID NIT STAY due to condition!This property is unkept and neglected. Refused to stay with family due to condition both inside and outside. Upper deck in desperate need of repair-grass overgrown-bathroom were dirty - Cabin large and has great potential but has obviously not been maintained. Very disappointed -attempted to work with host who did not accommodate. DO NOT STAY HERE!

AMAZING

Everything was perfect, the rooms, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the view, the location and especially the game room!!! We had so much fun and the location
 you cannot beat that. We did not use the hot tub because we were having so much fun around. A lot of grocery stores and a very good and convenient neighbor that sells wood literally next door. Perfect communication with the owner and clear instructions. Perfect stay for new years and it will be our new spot for family gatherings!!!

Spacious and entertaining

Our family loved our holiday stay! The house was very spacious providing entertainment and/or relaxation after a day of sightseeing and shopping. Sitting on the porch with coffee in the early morning was peaceful and enjoyable. We would definitely go there again.

Perfect Getaway Home

We stayed here for our anniversary and had such a great time! With all of the activities around the house, we barely had to leave! Ping pong, pool, foosball, hot tub - everything was great! The wood burning fireplace on the main level was perfect! We had 2 of our dogs with us and the property was perfect for them as well! Will definitely be returning!

Fun mountain getaway

This cabin was so fun to stay at for the weekend. The teenagers loved the basement with a pool table and ping pong table set up. The hot tub on the deck was nice (and seemed very clean which was so nice for a VRBO) The kitchen had everything you’d need for a weekend stay. Beautiful views out the back deck.

We were pleased overall with our stay. It was disappointing that the internet did not work. I tried to let the owner know through VRBO, but the message never sent. I received clear communication before arrival with instructions, but could not respond when I tried through VRBO with comments and questions.

Nice quiet place with lots to do

We just stayed here over the July 4th holiday week and really enjoyed our stay. There is SO much to do at this property. We were all very entertained during our stay. We explored the area during the day and did some hiking at Grandfather mountain and some canoeing in Price Lake. The kids enjoyed gem mining in Blowing Rock. There is no shortage of things to do in the area. Then back at the house we had foosball, ping pong, and pool to keep us busy in the evenings. The property is on a nice quiet road which was a pleasant change of pace for us. It has a steep spot on the drive up but wasn’t much trouble since it was summer but I’d think a 4 wheel drive would be a must for winter. The owner was amazing and very responsive. We had a few minor issues but she was on top of it and was super pleasant to deal with. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. About the only knock beyond the few small issues we had is that there are some things that seem a bit dated with the property but it’s in overall pretty good shape and as I mentioned offered so much for us to do.

Great Home

The house was perfect for our needs. We were in town for a funeral and needed somewhere that was big enough for two families. This house was very spacious so we never felt like we were crowded.

Perfect for rain or shine

Original boys golf weekend, turned into 1st annual “cabin Olympics” because of the rain. This property had plenty of things to keep us occupied durning the storms. All equipment was in good shape, place was clean, and very accurate descriptions! We talked about booking this exact space again next year. Host was kind and responsive. 5 star, all day.

We loved this house!!

We absolutely loved the house! Its very spacious and picture didn't do the house any justice, it was amazing. Everything we needed was supplied in the home the owner was very easy to reach and replied fast to any questions I had. We never had the desire to leave the house their was enough to do there and lots of relaxing. The home was clean and supplied well with blankets and linens, the kitchen had everything we needed for our big family as well!! We will certainly be revisiting and recommending to friends!!
