The description mentioned "ocean vistas" - only views here are of the mountains, no ocean.The description also mentioned "close to center of town" - we ended up taking taxis to get to and from apartment to city center of Santa Cruz.It's a nice apartment with good decor in an interesting building in an upscale neighborhood.However, hardly any bars, cafes, restaurants etc.We are two adult women traveling together and we thought with three bedrooms we'd each be comfortable in separate rooms, however the lovely master bedroom had a double bed and in the other two bedrooms there was a narrow single bed (and a playpen, highchair etc) and in the other one single bed, no bedding. Not what we were expecting.I got the double bed, my friend got the room with the single bed and didn't get one single night's good sleep while we were there.We went to the high end of our budget thinking we'd both have comfortable bed situations.No bedding for the 3rd bedroom, limited towels, blinds/curtains that do not work, no basics such as salt, pepper, paper towels, water, etcWe were charged an additional 3.5 euros in cash per day for the AC.We were charged an additional 150 euros in cash when we arrived as a "deposit" - money was returned when we left but this didn't seem like regular VRBO policy, a "deposit" was included in the original amount we paid.The pool looked nice but the weather was too chilly for us to enjoy it.Communication with host was not easy - we had to go through the app.

Did not go because of corona virus restrictions

We paid 50% deposit but unable to take up booking because of national corona virus restrictions. We asked for our deposit to be carried over to a new date in 2022 but we cannot be guaranteed of a booking as it seems that the property is already booked out. I have tried to communicate with the property owner/manager for clarification however he replies in Spanish and the translation process results in confusion. We have asked for further clarification but this has not been forthcoming. We are going to request a return of our deposit. Hopefully this will be successful. If not this will have been a very costly and annoying episode, one which will prejudice our future intentions of using vrbo ever again.

Fantastic Place to Stay

We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Impressed immediately by the foyer to the apartment, then the hallway into the apartment. Modern clean kitchen and separate utility area. A pair of oven gloves would be a great addition to the well stocked range of kitchen utensils. Knives all sharp too. Fridge and freezer looked almost new. I can see other guests said nothing was supplied, but we had some fairy liquid, bin bag, dish wipes and dishwasher tabs there. Lovely sitting area with extremely comfortable settees and chairs. Three lovely bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, so often in short supply in holiday lets. Nice clean light modern apartment. The en suite had a superb view too when showering! Nice balcony area for sitting out. Car park tight, but became much easier with practice. Great to have parking so easily available at whatever time of day. Shops for everything you might need within 5 minutes walk. Best beach in Tenerife 5 - 10 minutes drive away. Safe for families and with changing rooms and toilets and bars. With families do not miss a trip to Loro Park and if warm enough Siam park. You can get a combined ticket to them, cheaper.

Lovely

Lovely & clean accommodation, pool was clean, equipped & quiet even though visiting last two weeks of August. Location was nice, however, we are from London and found d the local area to be very quiet and would therefore recommend car hire. 12 minutes drive from the beach and approx the same to the shopping mall. The utility room does get extremely hot from the aircon unit, but we opened the window fully and closed that door off to the kitchen and it seemed to be ok. Lovely holiday and only returned yesterday. Thank you.

Nice modern apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It's situated in a really good area with fantastic access to public transport. There are many local supermarkets and there are some really good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk.

Large spacious apartment with some pros and cons

The apartment is very spacious with a great pool area and lots of public parking around for larger cars. The underground car park has some tight bends and is more suited for smaller cars. We were four adults and the bedrooms are quite big and comfortable. One thing we found disconcerting was the external air conditioning unit is placed inside the laundry which is next to the kitchen and this heated the entire space up so much we found we couldn’t really use the kitchen and it was so hot. We visited in Sept so in the height of summer this would be a real issue. We also believe some of the linens need replacing, like the pillows, towels etc. Some other minor improvements include a clean of the balcony, fixing the lock on the balcony door and the shower recess coming away from the wall in the ensuite. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and look forward to returning to Tenerife one day soon. Thank you.

High end property in a nice location

This is a high end property in a nice location; especially if you have a car. The swimming pool is clean, parking is easy, there are numerous good supermarkets a short walk away, and if you like jogging or walking, there are 4 really good options: a) up the valley to a dam (ie follow the view from the balcony), b) into the favella and up the hill to the transmission towers for amazing views (ie follow the view from the kitchen window), c) down the valley to the sea and turn right into Santa Cruz d) down the valley to the sea and turn left into San Andres. San Andres has the best beach and best restaurants. Before you get to the apartment take a moment to stop for supplies as absolutely nothing is offered. The check in guy said we cannot drink the tap water, so it was quite a drag to venture out after a long day’s travel to buy drinking water (at a cost of merely €0.31 for 1.5litres). If you need to communicate with the owner, give him at least 48 hours to respond.

Deluxe - wirklich wahr !

Unkomplizierte, sehr freundliche Übergabe (English spoken) der sehr modernen, gerĂ€umigen (bis 6 Personen), komplett ausgestatteten, gepflegten und sauberen Ferienwohnung. Wenn man so wie hier kostenloses Wifi mit guten Traffic-Daten hat, braucht man die nicht vorhandenen deutschsprachigen Fersehsender nicht wirklich. Vielleicht im "Winter" etwas kĂŒhl. In der zweistöckigen Tiefgarage geht es etwas eng zu, was zahlreiche Schrammen an den WĂ€nden bezeugen. Wenn aber Maserati und SLKs unbeschadet ihren Weg dorthin finden, wird es ein Mittelklasse_Leih_PKW wohl auch packen... Alles in allem : seeehr gut RW

Five of us stayed for a week over New Year. We thought the apartment was very good value for money. It is well placed to explore the city on foot either from the Ramblas or along the coastal walkway. Communications with the owner and his team on arrival were unsatisfactory but everything was resolved to our satisfaction before our departure.

Riesige, schön eingerichtete Wohnung

Positiv: - gute Ausstattung - viel Platz - Tiefgarage - Nahe des Stadtzentrums - großer Swimming Pool vorhanden - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußlĂ€ufig - Strand San Andres schnell zu erreichen - gute Verkehrsanbindung zu den schönen Dörfern im Norden Negativ: - der Balkon hat den ganzen Tag ĂŒber keine Sonne (im Dezember) - es gibt fast keine Restaurants, Bars in der unmittelbaren NĂ€he - der Swimming Pool ist im Dezember viel zu kalt - die Einrichtung der KĂŒche könnte besser sein FĂŒr eine Besichtigung von Santa Cruz und Umgebung kann ich die Wohnung grundsĂ€tzlich empfehlen. Allerdings kommt in der Wohnung kein richtiges Urlaubs Feeling auf. Der nahe Strand von San Andres ist zwar recht schön, allerdings im Dezember ziemlich windig und frisch. Außerdem befinden sich dort einige Containerschiffe im Blickfeld. Meiner Meinung nach reicht es, wenn man Santa Cruz einmal gesehen hat. Daher werden wir wohl nicht wieder kommen. Christian

Excellent stay with no complaints - highly recommended!

Clean and spacious apartment in a quiet but very convenient part of Santa Cruz with many supermarkets less than 5 minutes walking. Pictures perfectly represent the space. The terrace and pool are wonderful to relax in the evenings after full days exploring the beautiful island. Would recommend parking your car on the street since it is easier to get in/out than using the garage -- we left it there the entire week and had no issues.

Ausgezeichnet!

Die Wohnung ist super eingerichtet, wir haben uns dort mit 5 Personen sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Ruhige Lage mit kurzen Wegen zum Strand und in die Stadt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war schnell und problemlos, Pool kam bei allen sehr gut an. Kleines Manko fĂŒr die KĂŒche, da könnte die Ausstattung etwas umfangreicher sein. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen!

Clean , modern apartment

We enjoyed our stay in Santa Cruz in the beautifully appointed apartment. It was very quiet in a nice location. Shops and cafes near by but up a steep hill if walking with groceries back to the apartment. Only negative was parking in the underground car park tight turning with a fairly large car up a few floors. Not for a nervous driver.

Schöne Wohnung in nachts lauter Umgebung

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Leider gibt es nur in einem Schlafzimmer und im Wohnzimmer eine Klimaanlage. Zwei Schlafzimmer haben keine Klimaanlage. Der Pool ist sehr schön und es sind ausreichend LiegestĂŒhle vorhanden. Es ist auch alles sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundliche. Nachts war es hĂ€ufig in der Umgebung sehr laut. Ca.100 m gegenĂŒber war eine Art Disco oder Club von dem sehr laut die diversen Versnstaltung zu hören waren. Auch Disco bis weit in die Nacht. Nervig war auch sehr lautes Hundegebell. Scheinbar war auch ein Tierheim oder Ă€hnliches in der NĂ€he. Zu den GeschĂ€ften und auch diversen Restaurants waren es nur einige hundert Meter.

Estupendo el piso aunque requiere ciertas mejoras que lo harĂ­an perfecto.

En lĂ­neas generales el piso es estupendo y es segĂșn se ve en las fotos pero con pequeños detalles serĂ­a aun mejor: 1.- No funcionaban todos los focos del piso. De las dos lĂĄmparas del salĂłn solo funcionaba una. Lo mismo que en dormitorio principal, solo funcionaba una. Estaban fundidas. 2.- No habĂ­a secador de pelo. Es un detalle tonto pero importante. 3.- No hay foscurĂ­. No hay esa cortina opaca que evita que pase la luz en los dormitorios. Los que no puedan dormir con luz (como yo), se levantarĂĄn muy temprano. 4.- Excesivo calor en el piso, supongo que por los cristales. La cocina era un horno acrecentado con que la mĂĄquina de aire del salĂłn no es exterior, estĂĄ en el lavadero con lo que cuando se conecta el calor es insoportable. 5.- No habĂ­a ni aceite (algo bĂĄsico creo yo) ni detergente. Tuvimos que comprar (aceite y detergente) y dejarlo en el piso. Espero que alguien lo aproveche. En fin, el piso es muy bueno y muy bonito; con pocos detalles y mejoras harĂ­an de el un piso perfecto.
