Bel appartement rénové dans le centre-ville, au rez-de-chaussée d'une jolie maison des années 1960, à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville. Quartier trÚs sûr. Entrée séparée du propriétaire qui est à l'étage. TrÚs confortable et propre. En outre, à environ un pùté de maisons de Fire Island Bakery et à quelques pùtés de maisons du nouveau marché de la ville de Sagaya.

EntiÚrement approvisionné avec des serviettes, draps, et tous les appareils de cuisine et des articles pour vos besoins de cuisson.

Toutes les chambres sont trÚs lumineuses et reçoivent la lumiÚre directe du soleil à différents moments de la journée. Certainement une location pour un amoureux des plantes et de la lumiÚre. Toutes les chambres ont des issues de secours pour votre sécurité.

I was in Alaska on work assignment for 40 days. This place and the host were wonderful. The house has everything you could need - host even has bear spray(it IS Alaska). If you are there in late July into August there is a raspberry bramble along fence in the backyard to pick fresh berries from each day and fresh rhubarb that host encourages guests to use. I even made fresh raspberry jam. Location is great - you can easily walk to downtown Anchorage or to Tony Knowles path. Easy to park on street in front of house - no permit needed! When I go back, host will be one of my first calls! There are lots of towels, sheets, pillows, washer, dryer, drip coffee maker, bean grinder etc. The bed linens and sheets were phenomenal. Air purifier in the bed room, good closet and drawer space, two big flat screen TVs - but I never even turned those on - too much to do outside in Alaska in the Summer. Host is very responsive and accommodating! Highly recommend this property and host!!

This place was the cleanest place we’ve stayed at! The location was great and we felt safe during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough and will book again if we return to Anchorage!

Absolute Perfection

Truly the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The property had so many thoughtful touches and every utensil you could ask for in the kitchen. The host was very communicative and kind and check in and out was a breeze. Location was also lovely and very walkable to downtown. Would absolutely stay again.

The perfect spot in ANC

We stayed at this property for 10 days in September 2024. The property was just as described in the listing. It was very clean and towels, toilet paper and tea was in abundance. The natural light is amazing and the host provides some streaming services at no additional cost. The unit is walking distance to downtown. Although we had a vehicle, we walked to the Anchorage Visitors Center, The Federal Building (hosts a small museum) and many shops and restaurants. The unit is also close to major roadways and the Alaska Railroad Depot, Anchorage. Most important the unit is around the corner from Star the reindeer. We paid almost daily visits to our, now, favorite reindeer. We had an amazing time in Anchorage and coming “home” to a warm inviting place is the start.

Great rental and location

Rental for Anchorage was great. Courtney had everything we needed and was very helpful. The location is great and we felt very safe walking into the city. Be sure to say hello to Jack! The quiest and friendliest host "dog".

This basement apartment was wonderful! The apartment contained a ton of natural light and was very clean and recently remodeled. The neighborhood was quiet with convenient access to downtown. I highly recommend staying here and will return myself!

Home away from home.

Incredible vacation home base

My spouse and I visited for the Anchorage Mayor's Marathon. This was an excellent base for that activity, and for anyone coming in to town to spend time outside. It's an easy walk to Downtown and many trails. (I've never seen so many sidewalks in my life) The property itself is cozy and well appointed. It had everything we need to cook and the plants made for wonderful decor. I'd recommend this property in a heartbeat. There are stairs required to access but there is a handrail. It felt like home away from home. Courtney is also a wonderful host and was very responsive and helpful.

A Perfect Place for Me to Stay

I absolutely loved this place! Courtney is a great host. The property is in a great location, very close to downtown and very quiet. The apartment is well-stocked with towels, bedding, and kitchenware. Having lived in Alaska for 30 years and returning to visit, I found staying here like being home again. Clean, Cozy, and Great Location

This property was fantastic! Courtney was very easy to get ahold of for any questions and was very attentive to guest needs. This property was a basement apartment, but it did not feel like a basement and was very bright. I would highly recommend it as it was in a great location and was very comfortable. Simply perfect

We’re so glad we got in last minute! Courtney was an amazing host - my husband needed a certain pan to cook me breakfast and she let him use hers. Could Not be Better

This is about as close to perfect for us as it could get. It had easy entry, egress, very clean and comfortable, it was close enough to town that we could walk to most places, it had all the conveniences, a good sized bathroom and reasonably priced. We loved the train to Anchorage, the Ebike tour, and the Wildlife Excursion. The host Courtney was a treat, friendly and welcoming as was her dog Jack. We were more than .pleased. A+++

perfect downstairs apartment

We stayed for four nights at this location, and loved it so much! It's bright, clean, full of plants, and other nice touches and amenities. The bed was so very comfortable, and the pillow was like a cloud. The shower was spacious, with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The living area had plenty of room, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We happened to meet the owner, and she was very friendly. She offered her assistance with hiking trails, restaurants, and things to do. The location was great! It's in a cool neighborhood, easy walking distance from downtown. We had no trouble parking on the street in front of the house, and it felt very safe. There is a convenient market within a five minute walk. They had plenty of fresh produce, and a good selection of interesting things we can't find at home. Check in was easy. Check out was easy. It was honestly pretty perfect!

Perfect Getaway in Anchorage!

Anchorage Base

We stayed at Courtney’s place and had a great time! Courtney was always ready to offer help and suggestions on trails, restaurants, and other highlights of the Anchorage area. Her apartment was super clean and cozy. As soon as you enter, the space is filled with a pleasant aroma and filled with light. The 1.5 bathrooms were handy with four people and the walk in shower was roomy. The living room/kitchen area is comfortable and equipped with a washer/dryer, which is so important when traveling and trying to limit hauling around a lot of baggage. The kitchen was spacious with all the utensils and appliances needed to throw together a home cooked meal. The location was perfect and centrally located to any neighborhood in Anchorage. Thanks Courtney! 😊

Wonderful experience!

Our family of three stayed here for a week and we enjoyed our stay so much! The place was very clean, had all we needed, and was in close proximity to downtown. Courtney (host) was so helpful with our late night arrival (had extra bed all set up for our daughter and fresh coffee beans for the morning). She gave us fantastic recommendations for meals and activities in the area. Though the Vrbo is downstairs (basement), it is designed to allow for lots of natural light and didn’t feel like a basement at all. Courtney afforded us complete privacy but was quick to respond when we had any questions. We highly recommend this Vrbo for any travelers! Thank you, Courtney!

Highly recommend!!

This place was perfect. Stayed here with my teenage son for 4 days in June. Courtney is an amazing host. She is so responsive and helpful. Her property was spotless and very comfortable. It was also in the perfect location. Very close to downtown - within reasonable walking distance of a lot of places if you don’t have a car. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. A grocery store is literally 2 minute walk away. I will definitely stay here again next time we come to Anchorage. Having such a great host, Courtney, combined with everything great about this property ranks it at the top of the places I’ve stayed at.
