We stayed in the Casa Doretta in mid

We stayed in the Casa Doretta in mid-April. The location is awesome, when you come out of the apartment you are just a block away from everything. You can walk to every cafe or restaurant or shopping that you want to. And then the train station and ferry port were only 10 minutes away by walking. Really enjoyed the stay and meeting Cristina and Vittorio [the owner] as they were the best hosts ever. Fantastico. It was the location mostly. Wanted to be right in the middle of it all.

We absolutely loved staying in Casa Doretta. We were two couples and we had plenty of room. The location was in a perfect spot in Sorrento and we wish we were already back there again! Thank you for your hospitality! Would definitely book again.

Superb Sorrento Stay

We loved everything about our stay in Sorrento. The owners were extremely nice and even picked us up at the train station & transported our luggage to our room. They provided some snacks & drinks to us as well. Great location in Sorrento. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent stay here

We had an excellent stay here. Close to everything in Sorrento. The hosts were excellent and more than accommodating, even picking us and all of our luggage at the train station even though it took two trips. The place is very clean and they even stocked some groceries for us. Would definitely stay here again. Grazie!

What a perfect spot

What a perfect spot!! Loved the location!! This is an up-scale, beautifully maintained property. Around the corner is a breathtaking view of Naples bay, Sorrento harbor and Mt. Vesuvius. An easy stroll brings you to many restaurants, shops, quaint piazzas and the beauty of Sorrento.

Casa Doretta was absolutely perfect

Casa Doretta was absolutely perfect! Three couples stayed and we each had privacy. We enjoyed the balconies that overlooked the street below on one side, and the peaceful outdoor space in the secluded garden. The owners were amazing! Super friendly and helpful. We had a very good time and were comfortable in Casa Doretta. There are three large bedrooms with queen beds. No living room. Kitchen has a nice view of the cobblestone street with a park on the side. The owner, Vittorio, was a gem. I was always pleased with people I talked to at Summer In Italy.

We enjoyed staying at Casa Doretta. The owner was very friendly and visited with us almost daily. The place does not have a living and we knew it when we booked it, but we used the outdoors area which was cool most of the time. The air conditioning system was a little difficult to operate. We would highly recommend it to others. Your firm is very professional and provides a lot of information for the traveler.

We were a party of 6 adults and we were delighted with Casa Doretta. The location in the town is excellent - everything you want is within easy reach - the overall standard of accommodation is very good and the owner, Mr Vittorio, is friendly and helpful. This apartment is perfect if you want to soak up the atmosphere of Sorrento and explore the town, the stunning scenery and surrounding area on foot or by bus and train. We have appreciated your services and will happily recommend you to others. When next we visit Italy it is likely to be with Summer In Italy.

We loved staying at Casa Doretta

We loved staying at Casa Doretta. The apartment was very clean, and had lots of extra little things - like laundry detergent, iron and some staple food supplies (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, sugar etc) - which came in handy when we wanted to eat in the apartment. The location was perfect as it was right in the middle of Sorrento, just a short walk to the port, shops and restaurants. Vittorio and Cristina [the owners] were so helpful – they came to meet us and show us around the apartment, they had lots of helpful information about places to go and where to eat. We would highly recommend Casa Doretta and Summer In Italy to go through and we will definitely use them again.

My daughter, friend and I stayed at Casa Doretta for a week in June 2024

My daughter, friend and I stayed at Casa Doretta for a week in June 2024. Cristina and Vittorio were amazing hosts. Cristina secured our transportation from Rome to Sorrento and assisted with reserving trips to Capri, the Amalfi Coast and with many dinner reservations throughout our stay. She recommended excellent restaurants and checked in with us throughout the week to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved the large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. We also watched fireworks from the patio one night. We had such a wonderful time at Casa Doretta and we hope to return soon!

Casa Doretta was a wonderful place to stay

Casa Doretta was a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect for walking to any place we needed to go. It was noisy but because we were in the middle of town. Did not really bother us. The owner was very helpful and very nice. Everything was in perfect shape. Would certainly stay again. I am very impressed with Summer In Italy and was given answers to any question that I had. I think communication is very good. Would definitely book again and would recommend it to others.

Excellent accommodation for our party of five

Excellent accommodation for our party of five - busy enough during the day to keep us interested - quiet enough at night. There is no living room but we didn't miss it - kitchen was big enough to seat all of us when needed. Bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully presented. Patio was fine although shaded. Kitchen was well enough equipped for our needs. Very kind and thoughtful landlord. We loved it and will return if we can. That was our third trip to Italy booking with you and it wont be our last.

We loved Casa Doretta

We loved Casa Doretta. The owner was very attentive and for a nice touch he provided transportation from the train station for the 5 of us including our luggage free of charge. This was a nice touch. All 3 bedrooms as well as bathrooms were very clean. Many Thanks to Luca. I was given information in a timely manner and I much appreciate being able to pay by credit card in advance. This means that we do not have to carry as many Euros to pay the owner on arrival.

Casa Doretta was very nice

Casa Doretta was very nice. It did not have a living room, only a kitchen with some eating space and the 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The kitchen was updated and very nice and the garden area was lovely. The bathrooms were also updated and very nice. The bedrooms were large with nice balconies facing the street. The beds were not very comfortable, but on the whole, the apartment was much nicer than I expected. The landlord was wonderful. He was very helpful in suggesting us restaurants with excellent food and good prices. It was a wonderful vacation and I would highly recommend this apartment to others.

The airline lost our luggage which we received four days later and the owner Vittorio traced it finally down for us. He went out of his way to assist us! He also drove us to fish market. He was our perfect host and I would definitely book Casa Doretta again! Grazie Vittorio! I was very impressed with all the follow up I received and would book through Summer In Itanly again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Doretta. The location was excellent and all the facilities were very good. We did miss satellite tv but it didn`t seriously detract from our enjoyment. Vittorio [the owner] could not have been more helpful. I have recommend Casa Doretta to friends if they chose to visit Sorrento, and they should, as it is a beautiful place to be. I thought the staff at Summer In Italy were absolutely fantastic. Whenever I had even a small query I got a personal response, sorting out my concern, within a matter of hours. Excellent service.

Our week at Casa Doretta was the best part of our trip to Italy

Our week at Casa Doretta was the best part of our trip to Italy. Beautiful well appointed kitchen with a balcony that overlooks a lively and charming intersection, perfect for people watching. Lovely tiled bathrooms and charming bedrooms. There is no living room but we did not miss it - the kitchen became our gathering place. A small but welcome detail was the laundry rack on the terrace where we dried our hand washed items and made a trip to the laundromat unnecessary. There is also a large assortment of guide books for reference. Vittorio and Cristina [the owners] were helpful and charming, giving us a great orientation to the town and our accommodations.
