À une courte distance du rĂ©servoir d'Island Park, notre cabine est un excellent point de dĂ©part si vous apportez des jouets aquatiques. Vous avez une grande famille? Amenez tout le monde, Downtown Meadows est assez grand pour accueillir tout le groupe avec 5 chambres sĂ©parĂ©es et 3 salles de bains. Vous avez passĂ© une longue journĂ©e de randonnĂ©e ou vous ĂȘtes trop amusĂ© sur l'eau? Venez vous dĂ©tendre et vous baigner dans le bain Ă  remous privĂ©. Cette cabine est Ă©quipĂ©e d'une buanderie pour les promenades sur piste. À quelle frĂ©quence rĂ©unissons-nous la famille pour les repas? Avec cette cuisine entiĂšrement meublĂ©e, vous aurez toutes les commoditĂ©s dont vous aurez besoin pour ces grands dĂźners en famille. N'oubliez pas d'apporter les guimauves et les barres de chocolat pour les smores prĂšs du foyer extĂ©rieur!

Au niveau principal, vous avez 2 chambres; l'une est une chambre principale spacieuse avec une salle de bains privative et l'autre chambre dispose de 2 lits superposés et d'une salle de bains commune. Le niveau principal comprend également une cuisine bien équipée, un salon spacieux ainsi qu'une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse pour tous vos besoins de buanderie pendant votre séjour. A l'étage, trois chambres; une avec un lit king, une avec un lit queen et deux lits doubles et la finale avec 2 lits queen. L'étage dispose également d'une salle de bain commune avec douche à l'italienne.

Ce lodge est à seulement 40 minutes de l'entrée ouest du parc national de Yellowstone. N'oubliez pas d'apporter votre bois de chauffage pour profiter d'un feu de camp en famille à la fin de votre journée. Ce lodge dispose également d'un barbecue à gaz afin que vous puissiez faire un barbecue aprÚs une journée amusante de baignade et d'exploration.

The photos do not accurately reflect what the house actually looks like. If the property had been accurately portrayed in the pictures, we would not have payed as much as we did. We were unable to use the hot tub because the water stayed extremely hot despite us lowering it a few times. We enjoyed our stay at island park, but it was overpriced.

Great stay for the family

Wonderful house in a very quiet area. The floor plan was perfect for our family with plenty of room to spread out. Very nice decor and comfortable furnishings. The showpiece of the house is the extremely large dining table, which a large group can all sit around. We loved the back deck and the beautiful evergreen trees. We were near so much to see and do in this tri-state area.

Very Relaxing

The property is beautiful! The property management team was extremely helpful through everything. The only issue I had was the gate cards were not easy to find and there was only 1. However, they answered my call quickly and were extremely helpful with all my questions. The property is very well stocked and HUGE! We had 10 people and we never felt cramped. The hot tub was great when it was raining or snowing. There isn't great cell phone reception on the property but the wifi worked very well.

Perfect North Pole Christmas at Downtown Meadows, Island Park, ID

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday together at Downtown Meadows! The snow was fantastic, and the venue was clean and welcoming. The king beds were super comfortable! And the hot tub was pristine! We are already planning our return trip!

The cons outweigh the pros unfortunately

What we disliked about our stay at this property. -communication with the property management was awful from start to finish. Several calls were made to the office phone with no answer and never received a return call. The only way I found to contact the office was by texting the on call emergency numbers. -The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes our party had to take care of when we first arrived. -Furnace was not properly working for the first 3 hours of our stay. Maintenance arrived an hour or so after we contacted the office (via text as no one answers the phone) and was finally fixed after convincing/showing him it was actually broken. -One set of bunk beds was held together by electrical tape!! Attempting to get into the bed was impossible without possibly having the bed collapse. Guests ended up sleeping on the floor. This is not a safe sleeping arrangement for children or adults who may need to use this extra set of bunk beds for their stay. What we liked about our stay - Comfortable gathering areas and we loved the big dinning table -other than the dirty dishes the house was very clean -the hot tube was great - clean up before leaving the cabin was very easy and not labor intensive as it can be with other rentals -the area is beautiful and quiet.

Fun winter getaway

We had a great time! The house was really nice and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. We definitely will be staying again in the future.

Decent but not without issues

Overall it matched the way the property was described. House has a smell (like motel) and some of the instructions are outdated(ex. how to handle trash) and made us contact the management few time to realize that their instructions about handling trash are outdated. Some of the fans in the rooms were not effective and the suggestion given was to open the windows. FYI, the house has no A/C(as listed) and if you are thinking to have a strong/stable wi-fi connection you will soon run out of luck. This property is in wilderness and expect the wifi and mobile network to be patchy. Pool table was in bad shape and the cues were broken/non-functional. Overall, we had a good time but for the mentioned minor issues.

Comfort

Place was clean and comfortable. Cell coverage was spotty but was able to get a hold of the property managers easily to get in. Pictures are very accurate of what listing actually is. Not a lot to do at the house other than hot tub so bring your own games/cards if you plan on spending time at the house. WiFi is not good at all but hey, you’re in the mountains. There is a strange blip in the contract that they only leave 3 rolls of TP in each bathroom and you 2 rolls of paper towels in the house. You are responsible to purchase more if you need it. We didn’t even get paper towels and not all bathrooms had three rolls of TP. I thought this was super lame and cheap in my opinion. With the 8 people that stayed with us and 1/2 being girls, we ran out quickly. Overall it was a great place and would recommend staying here.
