Great house for big group. Lots of Bedrooms and baths!

The house is only 10 minutes from campus, but kind of in a country setting, very quiet. Not a huge living space, but it works just fine because we didn’t spend much time at the house.

Surprise Birthday Party

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The rooms are all small but there are 5 bedrooms and a bath for each bedroom plus 1. The outside was a great place to gather!

Parents weekend at Mississippi State

It’s not far from campus. It’s an odd layout of the house. Great for just an overnight stay. Each bedroom has a bath. Only drawback is there really isn’t a room to gather comfortably. The dining room is really the only option.

Quiet and clean

Nice place not too far from town. Furnishings are old but clean. As others mentioned, queen beds would allow for more guests to sleep comfortably. We were 2 couples and got our own room and bathroom. Newer sofa in living area would be better too. Having SEC network would be nice to be able to come back from game and watch another game. Would stay here again!

Great game weekend stay

This home was very clean and fairly well stocked for a game day stay. It could use some upgraded beds to be at least queen size for more comfort. The sitting area could use a few more seating options because we all couldn't sit there together. But we did enjoy playing cards at the kitchen table since there was a TV to watch in the dining area.

Just ok

Would be nice to have written directions or know google maps doesn’t work. Needs a very deep cleaning, baseboards, fans, heater vents are all very dirty. Pillows need replaced, bed frame was very squeaky.

Quaint retreat location

PJs place was perfect for our needs, having come into town for a MSU football game and needing a place to rest our heads afterwards. Ubers to and from town were ~$25-30 on a game day, so likely a bit lower when less is going on in Starkville. There was a DUI checkpoint on the highway leading up to the house. The house is well maintained and newer construction. Had all the amenities we could have needed for a longer stay, but for our purposes, was shelter till we departed the morning after the game. I would stay there again if returning to Starkville. Thanks to our hosts!

Clean, lots of beds
 bring your own cookware

I was very satisfied with the available beds and cleanliness of this property. However, I planned to feed my family supper and there were NO pots/pans/cookie sheets. I had packed my own cooking pot thankfully, and sent the kids to dollar general to get a cookie sheet. I also think the price was really high for the property
 it ended up costing me the price of 2-3 hotel rooms for 6 guests. I won’t stay here again due to the price- I can’t afford it. There is no large gathering room in the house other than the dining room table, so don’t expect to congregate together for “large gatherings” as described. But like I said, it was clean and convenient to Starkville and the hosts were available buy phone when we couldn’t get the TVs to work.

Quiet and secluded, but close to town

Finding a VRBO home in Starkville with more than 3 bed/baths was difficult, but we found this house and were very happy with our stay. It is located a couple miles out of town, but the drive was easy to campus and to our son's apartment. Each of the 5 bedrooms has it's own bathroom (1 doesn't have a shower-but there is one in the hallway right outside the door). One bedroom is a fold-out sofa, which we didn't use. The others are all queen-sized beds. There is no room to gather to socialize other than a small sitting room and the dining room, but we made it work since most of our time was spent at events and our son's apartment. The inside of the house was clean and well-cared for, but the outside could use some cleanup and some patio space to sit and socialize. Our only suggestions would be updating the mattresses and fix the obnoxiously noisy bed frames. Otherwise, it was a nice rental and we had a nice visit for our son's graduation. Thank you.

Love the Serenity

We came to Starkville for Football Game. After a very loud and busy day, it was a real treat to stay in such a serene environment. House was spotless and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again if I make it down that way!!!

Stayed for the Egg Bowl

We had a nice stay and we were able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. The host was very nice and was very quick to get back to me right away when I had questions. Make sure you use the directions that the host gives you and not your GPS, which the host explained via text when we were enroute to the property. Your GPS will take you somewhere else for some reason.

Great property. Tons of space with each room having it's own bathroom that allows for privacy for each guest. Easy drive to Mississippi State, enjoyed everything about the trip with the exception of the result of the football game.
