Escapade en famille parfaite sur la magnifique île de Bald Head. Gigi’s Place est situé dans la forêt maritime, à seulement 3 minutes en voiturette de golf des plages. Grande maison privée située sur le 7ème fairway à quelques minutes du port, des plages et du marché. Entièrement équipé avec tous les besoins essentiels de chaque membre de la famille. Des balançoires et hamacs de jeux d'extérieur aux jeux d'intérieur, les enfants apprécieront de profiter pleinement des jouets amusants de Gigi, y compris Xbox One avec manettes sans fil. Toutes les chambres ont de nouveaux téléviseurs à écran plat intelligents, avec câble complet et Internet sans fil. Des barrières pour bébé sont fournies pour les escaliers, Pack and Play avec matelas, chaise haute, Doc a tot et des moniteurs pour bébé facilitent les voyages avec les nourrissons et les tout-petits. Les adultes apprécieront la vue sur le parcours de golf et le porche grillagé avec un deuxième coin repas. Literie et draps design avec tous les nouveaux matelas en mousse à mémoire. La place de Gigi est notre maison permanente de septembre à mai et nous sommes ravis de partager notre OASIS avec vous. Les amateurs d'aventure sur l'île apprécieront 2 kayaks (1 personne et 3 personnes), 2 planches de surf, planches de boogie, 2 vélos adultes, ensembles de volley-ball de sable. , chaises de plage, parapluies, glacières et chariot de plage qui se fixent à la voiturette de golf pour un voyage facile sur la plage. (1) voiturette de golf pour 4 personnes, (1) voiturette de golf pour 6 personnes. Des barbecues au charbon et au gaz pour votre plaisir de griller. Les vendredis / vendredis jours de tour en saison évitent les foules d'arrivée et de départ et vous permettent de profiter d'un week-end complet à la plage.
Gigi's Place fournit également des sacs poubelles, du détergent à lessive et à lave-vaisselle pour alléger vos charges de voyage.

Beautiful house with a lovely back porch and swing! Everything you need is there. Just a heads up the fire pit was removed due to no burn policy and they are pet friendly with a 300 fee. Great relaxing vacay, would definitely come again!

Perfect family vacation!

We love Bald Head Island for many reasons and this house met all of our needs. We loved the location, the fact that it had 3 golf carts, the kids bunk bed and trundle room, 2 king size beds, bikes, toys, and the nice screened in porch! We come back every year and we’re % pleased with this property!

Incredible for families!

Loved our stay at “Out of Office” in June. It was a perfect spot for families. If you are traveling with toddlers or babies, book this spot and take some of your stress off! So many amazing kid supplies. Best of all, the host Taylor has top notch hospitality! We were scoping out our next stay on the island one day and my husband said “but we can’t book somewhere without Taylor’s hospitality!” Seriously, the perfect get away!

Great stay!

We booked this home and had a great stay. There were 7 of us and plenty of room. The kids loved the games, the grandparents loved the puzzles, and the screened in porch was perfect! We utilized the golf carts to explore the island and mainly ate our dinners in the home with plenty of space and everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. Would stay here again. Thank you to a great host that was very prompt with questions leading up to the visit!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The house was in the perfect location, spotless, and stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. With 4 adults and 4 children, there was plenty of space, and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable for everyone. The host was so kind and responded to our questions promptly, both before and during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back! If you have kids and are traveling to the island, this is the place to stay!!

We had a wonderful time. There were a couple minor issues in the beginning but the property owner was very quick and gracious to correct them and make our stay really special. The home is lovely with very nice furnishings. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. The location was very convenient to the island amenities. Plenty of golf carts for our use and a nice grill! The kitchen was well stocked and great for our family gatherings. It was a lovely and comfortable vacation! 2

Everything You Need

This beautiful home was the site of our summer vacation, and it was everything we wanted and more. The house is perfectly appointed. Seriously, we've never stayed in a house that had everything you can think of. This one did! The floorplan worked more than well for our party of six, and the view from the back porch can't be beat. A small slice of paradise..

This was our second stay at GiGi’s Place (first through VRBO) and we will be back again and again. Bald Head Island is an amazing little paradise and GiGi’s Place is the perfect place to enjoy it from. We travelled with another family and the dual master suites made this house a great fit. The beds are comfortable with new memory foam mattresses. The linens are high quality and soft. Between the two families we had 5 children (one an infant). GIGi’s Place has a fun bunk room that easily slept the 4 older children and could have held more. It also had everything we needed for an infant plus things we didn’t know we were missing (the doc-a-tot was so nice we bought one of our own when we got home). The pack-n-play had a mattress making it more comfortable for a 7 night stay and the baby monitors were a great touch. We also traveled with a babysitter, who had her own bedroom to escape to. On Bald Head you do a lot of your own cooking and GiGi’s place was a DREAM. The kitchen has everything you could ever need in the kitchen. Let’s be honest no one wants to be in the kitchen on vacation, but with the instant pot and slow cooker GiGi’s makes it easy to spend most of your time enjoying Bald Head! The golf carts provided are nice and on the newer side. There is more fun beach equipment than we knew what to do with and the older children loved the kayak on the marsh. The location is one of the best on the island, everything is 3-5 minutes away (market, harbor, beaches, BHI Club). And the back porch has wonderful views of the golf course and occasionally an alligator. The property owner, Lou, is so helpful and kind. She’s quick to respond to questions and provides lots of great information and tips for travel to and life on the island. All said we’ll be back every year!

Magical Escape

We can’t say enough good things about our wonderful experience at Gigi’s Place. The location is private, quiet, and beautiful. The house is spacious and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated how each room was well-appointed and stocked, especially the kitchen—which we cooked in every day, both adults and kids. Little things like updated laundry appliances and high-end mattresses/sheets go a long way towards making guests feel very welcome and comfortable. Lou is an attentive and appreciative homeowner who made sure that we were comfortable with the level of cleanliness and care (during COVID) and she even offered to help us manage through a storm and island-wide power outage. Having two carts is a great bonus—especially one larger one for when our 2-family crew headed to the beach with chairs and gear everyday. BHI is a special destination and Gigi’s Place is a perfect place to stay and enjoy everything the island has to offer.

Stay here!

We had an amazing stay. It was our second time on baldhead and our friend’s 5th and we can only rave about Lou and the house. She went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The home was clean and neat and had anything you may need for kids of any age. She has everything at the house so we didn’t have to lug our own beach towels or filtered water or toys for the kids. Thanks so much Lou! Hope to stay with you again in the future.

We are Taylor and Toby, along with our two adventurous little companions, Elouise and Webster. 

Our love affair with Bald Head Island dates back to the early 2000s when a young girl, Taylor, first set foot on its shores. Her mom, Lou, always dreamed of owning a piece of this paradise, and that dream became a reality in 2018 when the house was lovingly known as 'Gigi's Place.' 

Fast forward a few years, and now Taylor along with her siblings has the opportunity to carry on the legacy of this cherished island home. After a brief hiatus from the rental market, we are thrilled to reintroduce our beloved retreat as 'Out of Office'.
Elouise and Webster have grown up on this island, and we hope that 'Out of Office' will continue to be a place where dreams of Bald Head Island homeownership are born.
