The manicured grounds, tree covered lot, large patios, phenomenal architecture and undeniable comfort brings peace and elegance to each room in the home. A music system extends to all of the patios and outdoor areas which brings life to the entire property and/or adds to the calm which accompanies the constant breeze on the front porch. The bedrooms provide a king size bed and queen size bed, plus two comfortable roll away beds. Biking or walking along the river walk to the nearby restaurants, music venues, art exhibits and shopping in our Historic Downtown makes for a one of a kind vacation. Feeling otherwise.....let Instacart deliver groceries and BBQ for friends and family while enjoying the shaded patios and covered porches.

Absolutely stunning house. Incredible and well manicured outdoor spaces. Easy drive to San Angelo attractions and restaurants. Extremely comfortable beds. Lots of room to spread out. Just one caveat. Shower in the only bathroom has extremely poor draining. It would take up to 10 minutes for an inch or two of water at the bottom to fully drain, before the next person could take a shower. Hopefully it will be a quick fix before their next guests. Otherwise we would gladly enthusiastically stay there again.

We enjoyed our visit to San Angelo and found everything we needed for a comfortable stay at this one of a kind Victorian home. I loved the decor! A highlight was the front porch and adjacent garden. We enjoyed the porch so much! The check in and check out process was easy with great communication from the host. I would love to stay here again! Thank you!

I grew up in San Angelo and left when I started at UT in 1977. After living in Austin for more than 40 years, I found myself wanting to spend more time closer to my dear friends and family again. Hosting has been a wonderful way to reconnect with the community and share a place that brings me a lot of joy and calm. Just let me know what you need to make your stay more comfortable and I’ll do my best to provide.

There’s a real sense of familiarity and warmth here, people wave when they pass by, and there’s an easygoing pace that I missed after years in the city. It’s close enough to everything you might need, but still quiet enough to unwind and feel at peace.

What I love most about this home is its personality. The themed wall art throughout the space celebrates childhood stars and heroes from a different era, which brings a touch of nostalgia and charm to every room.
