I’ll start with the positive - the lake front views are beautiful. The beach has nice furniture on it. The location is great for West Shore activities. The house: you should know that the house does not have an oven, a dishwasher or a table inside for dining. We were there the first two weeks of July and got a beautiful mountain storm the first couple of days. Challenge was that we had no where to eat. The only table is on the deck. The kitchen is really a half kitchen. It’s very small and a walkthrough from the deck to inside - making it constantly congested. The fridge opens into the back door. So, if you are planning to cook vs. eat out, it’s a challenging situation. The neighbors: it appears this is the only rental in the neighborhood, and there are some neighbors who are clearly unhappy about this. There are two docks that the house does not have access to - they are right in front of the house. One of our kids was on the dock doing pushups and we promptly got a call from the management company. All good - we will stay far away. But, the calls continue. The adults were outside having dinner and we got a call about “our party” on the dock. No one was on the dock, but still the neighbor comes out to inspect. The next day we left early for the golf tournament, and got a call mid morning about our party on the dock. No one was home! So, be prepared to be watched the entire time you are there. It’s not ideal.
