Beautiful views of Lake Desmet and the Bighorn Mountains!

Two separate living spaces! Walk out basement! & beautiful lake views! What more would you want?!
Whether you wanna get away from the kids or accommodate a 2 family vacay this place is for you!

Each living space includes living rooms, kitchens and master bedrooms with ensuite.

Upstairs has full kitchen with new appliances, living room with SMART TV, master bedroom with ensuite, two additional bedrooms & a three piece bathroom.

The recently renovated basement now offers a FULL kitchen with an island and open cupboards. The large basement also includes a dining space, half bath, living room with a 65" SMART TV and a large master bedroom with an ensuite. The master bedroom includes one double bed, bunk beds and a large walk in closet!

5 private acres and two car garage.

Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am.
Early check in may be possible upon availability.

Check out The Lake Stop Bar & Grill just walking distance from the house!

You are just an 8 min drive from Buffalo which includes the Occidental hotel, golf course, plenty watering holes and Winchesters Steakhouse!

You are only 30 mins to Sheridan, WY !

We loved the location of this house, great views, quiet neighborhood. We loved having coffee on the deck in the morning, then again in the evening watching the antelope.

The location of the property was perfect for our trip. We were close enough to our events for Longmire Days but the scenery, quiet and wildlife was perfect. We enjoyed having separate spaces for our group.

Great House on Lake DeSmet

Three couples stayed at the house which is very clean, large and well appointed. We had plenty of room. We enjoyed the views of the lake and the huge sky with some beautiful evening storms. We had a great time and rate this property with a score of 10 out of 10!

Awesome place to stay

We were in Buffalo for a weeklong family reunion that was actually being held at the lake. This could not have worked out better for us. House was everything stated and more. Thank you for sharing your home.

Hunting trip

All 8 of us enjoyed our stay. We really liked that we all got to stay together. The house was fully equipped and exactly what we were looking for. It was conveniently located closed to all places we needed it to be. Matt was very responsive to any and all questions and was a great host. I would highly recommend this property and Matt as a host.

Couldn’t ask for more!

Host was easy to communicate with. If anything, the house was under played. Very nice, super clean, roomy, and they made sure you had everything you needed besides bringing food. We had 2 adult couples and 5 kids, there was plenty of room. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Matthew is super responsive which is a big deal for me. Thanks again!

Perfect house for three families

Great house for our three families of family and friends. Plenty of room for all to spread out. It was a base for hiking in the mountains, shopping in Sheridan or fishing/swimming in Lake Desmet. Beautiful views of mountains and lake. Relaxing sitting on the deck taking in sunrise and sunset. Only negative one couple thought the basement bed needed updated and could use more drink ware.

Great family getaway

Everything as advertised. ADA compliant 1st floor bedroom a big plus for elderly visitors. Beautiful view of the lake. Matt was quick to answer all questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome, clean, comfortable and great view

Loved this vacation rental! Very clean, beautiful home and there was a great view of the mountains and lake alike. The beach was just a short drive away and we were able to enjoy it everyday. The owner was really nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this property!

Good Space

Nice space with room for the family. Amenities were pretty nice like laundry and dishwasher detergent. Plenty of towels. Some of us found the beds uncomfortable, some were fine with them. The water seems very hard, ice maker wasn’t on but nearby lodge had ice for drinks. We couldn’t find baking sheets. There wasn’t much glassware for mix drinks. We appreciated the 2 refrigerators. There was also an extra LP tank in the garage which we needed! Thank you!!!
