Stay Montana - Charmante cabane rénovée avec vue sur le lac Echo

Charmante cabane rénovée située dans un terrain bordé d'arbres surplombe le magnifique et calme lac Echo. Le soleil se couche devant vous tout en profitant de la vue surplombant le lac cristallin. Quai privé et 100 pieds de plage. Ce lac familial est parfait pour tous les sports nautiques, la natation et la pêche.

Glacier Park est à environ une heure de route tandis qu'à seulement 11 km se trouve le magnifique Jewel Basin où les sentiers vous mènent par de petits lacs parfaits pour la pêche. Les chèvres de montagne peuvent être repérées assez souvent sur ces sentiers.

Le rafting et le kayak sont à quelques minutes d'ici, tout comme de nombreux restaurants, épiceries, terrains de golf et le théâtre Big Fork.

We had a wonderful time! House was very well stocked with whatever we needed! We were able to catch a bunch of fish right off the private dock! Lake water was super warm! Overall a great trip!

Very clean, spacious, and perfect spot for a relaxing vacation!

Echo Lake is a unique spot with beautiful mountain ranges surrounding the lake and clear, warm water for fun activities! My family rented jet skis and paddleboards and thought that the lake was the perfect size, not too big or small. The walk down to the dock is not recommended for elderly people because it is a little steep but the path zig zags and is clearly defined with dirt and rocks making it easy to get down. The cabin was very clean and was the perfect size for all 6 of us! It had everything we needed and is in a great location, right near the rental place and echo lake cafe, and about an 8 minute drive to Bigfork. The owners are super nice people and we had a blast! I definitely recommend this cabin for your next summer adventure. The cabin has been updated since these pictures were taken so its even nicer on the inside!

Dead mouse

Not our best stay. The property is dated and we happened to be there on a HOT weekend. NO AC, which is detailed in listing, but when it is midnight and it is 80 degrees inside and out, you are still miserable. Add a dead mouse in the middle of the kitchen floor during our stay, we were ready to leave. Lake is busy and dock doesn't work to leave boat tied on.

Dated and dirty

Location was good however, the home was not clean (ie. food particles in the pots and pans cabinet, knives in sleeves were greasy), and the property was very dated. Although dated is fine... dated and broken is not. So many things were not functioning properly and had to be rigged or adjusted to get them to work.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We booked the property months ahead out of excitement to see Montana. A week out I was so nervous it was going to be too small for our 7 person group. But it was perfect! The home is cozy and situated looking down over the lake. It was clean and well stocked. Beds were coming as wel! We met the owner one afternoon who was very pleasant and couldn’t be happier. Excellent stay and would book again.

Would recommend

A dated property but very very clean - very much appreciated. The rental company was extremely helpful. I would recommend the property for small family get togethers. The lake views, nearby amenities and restful atmosphere was appreciated by all.

Clean and comfortable

It’s on echo lake which is a clean mountain lake. There is a dock and paddle boat available to use. We rented a boat in Bigfork which is about 5 minutes away. Had a great time inner tubing. There is a deck. Ate all of our meals outside. 45 minute drive to glacier National Park.

Spacious Cabin for six.

Pros- The cabin was clean, well stocked and spacious. The beds were great. Fans for every room were provided. The guest cabin below was clean and spacious for extra sleeping beds. The dock is perfect for a boat, raft and swimming. The water is like glass ALL day - perfect for kayaking and water sports. It never felt over-run with boats. Cons- The cabin is located above the dock and the path through the pines is steep. Below the boat house are steps with a rope rail. Load your boat with goodies at the put-in and you are set. The property faces the west and while there are lots of pines, the evening sun is very hot.
