Born in the North of England and relocated to South Africa with my parents in my early teens so I was educated there and as the years went by and much to my dismay I returned to England where I spent 21 years in the transport industry and 9 years in the entertainment industry as a caberet singer before finally arriving in Cotes d'Armor, France via Spain to spend 11 years there renovating old French properties then having moved to Finistère in 2011 to be married with a Morlaisienne who sadly soon after was taken by lung cancer and so here I remain.
This house, whilst it appears to be quite modern I believe was built in the late 1800 era and the most recent habitants prior to my purchase of the property were the 'Genets D'or' and as the house was too large for one person I created three apartments of which two now are tourist accommodation and the third is chez moi.

Having spent the most part of my life living in the countryside or next to beach I needed somewhere calm and close to the sea as did my wife but she born approximately 5 minutes from here so it's location was perfect and so it remains. The neighbourhood is calm despite the proximity of the college next door and gives a rare perception of being in countryside 20 minutes ride from the beach and the Monts d'Arrée yet just 5 minutes on foot from the town centre.
