Beautiful spacious secluded log home located feet from ATV/snowmobile Trails

We welcome you to Cozy Acres. This beautiful vacation home is located about 2 hours North of Minneapolis/St. Paul in Trego, WI. Our property offers 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The home also includes a spacious sleeping loft. Our accommodations include 1 king size bed, 5 queen size beds, 2 twin size beds and 1 futon, room for up to 15 people. The home comes completely furnished with all bedding, kitchenware and appliances. The property is located very close to ATV & snowmobile trails. In fact, you can jump on a trail that is about 500 ft from the end of the driveway. Also located just feet from the driveway is a large parking area for trailer parking if needed which is also located along the ATV/snowmobile trail. Cozy Acres is also located less then two miles from the beautiful Namekagon River. The Namekagon is a great place to canoe or float down on tubes. Jacks Canoe Rental is located in town for your rental and/or transportation needs or feel free to bring your own as there is a park to enter/exit the river nearby. We are located 6 miles from Spooner and 25 miles from Hayward. These are both nice areas to shop small boutiques and antique stores. The town of Trego has 2 bar/restaurants and a gas station/convenience store for all your needs. The custom log home is located on top of a hill surrounded by serenity and nature. Second time stay!

This is our second time staying here and we had the best time. Cabin is fully equipped with all the necessities to cook up a storm and in an area that is so secluded we enjoyed the privacy. Owners were so accommodating as well.

Great Cabin for Multiple Families!

We stayed here for Birkie 2024 (the snowless winter) with another family and had a great time. The cabin is beautiful with lots of space for a couple of families to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed for making a couple meals, and the location between Hayward and Spooner worked out really well. The owners were also super responsive. Overall, we were super impressed with the property and had a great stay!

2020 Girls trip at the most beautiful house!

Went with eight girlfriends canoeing down the Namakagon river and stayed in this house. This is one of the nicest places we have ever rented and it was perfect for our getaway. Sleeping arrangements worked great for our group with lots of beds that were very comfortable. The open kitchen/ living room area was great and the location in the woods was awesome! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Awesome place!

The house has everything you need in it! They provided fire wood for the fire pit and charcoal for the grill! Love the heated floor for the basement/bottom level, it’ll be good for whoever books in the winter time! Would book again if needed a cabin near here! Only complaint is that there are a lot of light switches and all switches doesn’t have labels so it was struggle trying to find the correct light you need.

Getaway in the Woods

Overall, this was a great facility and a great time. Plenty of room to spread out, congregate, eat, prepare food, play games, have a fire, etc. A couple critiques-- handrails needed for stairs to lower level and from living room to patio area. The right side burners on stove did not automatically light. The steps to the patio from the front deck and the living room could extend out further. Maybe a bit nit-picky but handrails and steps are safety issues.

Abundant Blessings!

I am so grateful for the hospitality and overall comfort provided by Carla. This was such an unexpected treasure, and was the perfect place to celebrate my sister before her big day! The space was gorgeous and spacious, and it was the perfect place to host a group of women. The house was stocked with everything we could hope for (and even held the things we forgot to pack!). We felt extremely comfortable, and we are so thankful we were able to have this weekend that allowed us to not feel the pressure of this current season of stress due to covid. Each of the rooms had beds that were extremely comfortable, and we loved all the seating that was provided for our large group. This was one of my best experiences renting through VRBO, I am so grateful for this opportunity to stay at this home! P.S. I am so thankful to see the touches of Christian decorations, it truly felt like a gift from the Lord that we were able to find this place so last minute. Thank you for your generosity!
