The Kauai Coast is a beautiful Shell Vacations/ Wyndham Resort located near the Coconut Marketplace in the centrally located town of Kapaa, Kauai. This beautiful resort offers beach access and features a full kitchen, with living room/dining area and flat screen TV as well as a washer/dryer in unit. Unit also has a patio or balcony and beautiful surrounding views. Resort features the island renowned Hukilau Lanai restaurant on site as well as frequent nightly live entertainment and beautiful tropical gardens to explore. There is a large pool with waterfall feature and hot tub with a well equipped fitness center.. The adjacent Coconut market offers many shops and there are several restaurants all within walking distance of the resort. The historic town of Kapaa is centrally located to explore all parts of the island on easy day trips.

Perfect location. The unit is clean and equipped with all essentials for your stay. It has in unit dryer/washer and you can cook since it has all cookware as well. Will definitely come back.

Wonderful stay at Kauai Coast Resort

This is a very nicely maintained and professionally managed resort by Wyndham. The unit is spacious and well equipped with kitchen, toiletries, and laundry supplies. The host is very responsive and offered a call before our stay to share helpful tips. The location is very convenient for getting to most attractions on the Island. There is a great local farmers market at the Coconut marketplace across the street every Tuesday and Thursday.

By far the best place and the best host

Usually I do not put a review unless I am extremely satisfied or totally unsatisfied about a car/vacation rental or a product. How could I expect more in my current stay at Kauai Coast Resort! This was by far the best vacation I had. What a wonderful place and host. To help the future guests I review my stay in different aspects separately: 1- Location (5 star): This resort is located in the most convenient and accessible location, one-minute walk to a beautiful and relaxing beach on the east side and one-minute walk to the west to a cozy and lovely plaza with restaurants, cafes, grocery stores as well as shopping stores to get memorable Hawaiian souvenirs. It is located right by the highway that takes you to all sceneries and beaches. There are many places to visit in Kauai but honestly I found the best and safest and very popular beach for swimming and snorkeling (Lydgate Beach Park) in 5 minutes drive from the resort. I suggest getting the snorkeling kit (you can also get it from the plaza located by the resort) and head to this beach and enjoy swimming and watching the beautiful colorful fishes. 2- Room (5star): I reserved a one bedroom unit, amazing!!! This unit had everything you need, a big fully furnished living room and a giant bedroom, laundry and drying machine, dish washing machine, microwave, two TVs, one in living room and one in bedroom, a very cozy and big patio opens to the garden with some ocean view. You can even find dishes/utensils/pans/pots/coffee machine/bowls and anything a kitchen must have. Very well organized and clean and you feel it home. 3- Staff (5star): The resort staffs are very friendly and helpful and very respectful. 4- Host (5star): What a wonderful and respectful Host, I booked the unit through vrbo and had no idea about the host. Before my trip James (host) called me with a very warm and welcoming attitude and described the place and the location and had recommendations on where to go during the trip and what to do, very informative and very responsible. He was always responsive and easy to communicate, always there to help and assist if any question. I can't thank him enough for being so wonderful and letting me stay for two extra days with my initial reservation, I should say I was really lucky to book my rental unit from James. This vacation was the most pleasant vacation I had by far, not only because of the amazing and wonderful unit and location, but also because of being hosted by James, Thanks.
