A true Northwoods experience, as this home is on the prestigious Minocqua Chain of Lakes (access to over 5000 acres) which means you can boat to attractions, shopping, restaurants, and more. Enjoy excellent fishing, water sports, snowmobiling, zip-lining, golfing, cross country and downhill skiing (depending on the season).
Spectacular lake views from the deck or the beautiful fire pit. A gradual slope down the walking path to the 155' sandy shoreline. Beautiful sunset views right from the dock provide a great place to enjoy a peaceful evening. Don't be surprised to see the eagle nesting in the tree just off the water. This 3 bed / 2 bath home is completely furnished to allow your family a true needed vacation. With plenty of space to manage your family.

Perfect Minocqua location

Great location close to town yet feels nicely isolated when at the property. Clean and spacious. Great two level arrangement for a family. Our second time staying here. Highly recommended!

Beautiful family stay

Our stay was amazing. The house was beautiful and clean, we were able to enjoy the lake and dock. There was plenty if wood for our nightly campfires. Loved that the tv was located downstairs while upstairs we were able to enjoy the views and fireplace. Best of all was the friendly chipmunk who visited us daily. Perfect place for a wonderful and relaxing family vacation.

GREAT place - we will be back!

We found our property to stay in Minocqua! Rave reviews from the entire family. Very clean and updated home. Love the location - very quiet. Firepit was fabulous with free wood on the property to use a nice bonus. My daughter and I enjoyed the kayaks. We rented a boat a couple of days and explored the chain of lakes. The grill was great for meals in the cabin. Kitchen was well appointed with all the essentials we needed. We could have stayed longer and will next time!

Outstanding Northwoods Getaway!

Talk about an amazing stay in Northern Wisconsin! We couldn’t have asked for a better place & with more amenities than most! This place was very clean & well stocked! The owners were great at communication and check in and out processes were very easy. We had more room than needed with 5 adults during our stay! Rented a boat from R & R Marina for a few days and this home had a great docking system for ease of use! We brought our own paddle boards, enjoyed the kayak provided in the garage and felt right at home â˜€ïžâ˜€ïžâ˜€ïžđŸ˜Ž Would 💯 recommend and stay again☀☀☀

Great fishing vacation!

Sometimes you wonder if the reviews are too good to be true. This property’s reviews are quite accurate. House is clean, modern, and well maintained. Patio deck with gas grill and modern picnic table is where we spent a great deal of time. Owner information provided prior to and after booking was prompt and complete. The info a week prior to arrival covered all need to know info and more. Fisherman friendly! Very sturdy pier. Well appointed primary boat docking; great bumpers, good cleats on the pier, no fear of excessive waves pounding the boat. We had a second 18 foot boat. Just fit on the side of the pier, nosed up to but not in the vacant wave runner lift. Needed an extra long rope on the bow to tie up as there are no cleats for a second boat. We were also prepared to run about 300 feet of extension cords from the house to the boats because we asked the owner ahead of time. Well maintained gravel/small stone walk down to the boats. And we caught fish every time out on the beautiful lake! (We practice catch and release.)

Booked this cabin for an annual trip with 3 college friends that typically involves a lot of boating and fishing. Very nice cabin, immaculately clean and well kept, great spot on a beautiful lake. Many thoughtful touches. Owner was responsive and friendly. One of the very few VRBOs I've stayed in where the property is as nice/clean or nicer/cleaner in person than it appears in its photos online. I would book this property again without hesitation.

Fantastic Minocqua rental!

Very clean. very updated. The owner was readily available and accommodating. The location couldn’t be better giving easy access to the entire Minocqua chain of lakes. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful lakefront property on the chain

The lake house was beautifully updated, had an amazing fire pit area, and newer padded dock for boats. My wife and I couldn’t have been more happy about the rental, it was just what we were looking for. It was in a great location, with a super close public boat launch. Good parking area for vehicles and boat trailers. The renters got right back to us with any questions we had ect.. it was very nice to be right on the chain, we skied, rented a pontoon, and did a ton of fishing. It was great!

Awesome Northwoods Lake House!!

We had a great stay at the LakeHouse. The house is gorgeous inside and very well laid out and maintained. Decor is all updated and modern yet still retains that northwoods charm. Scott, the owner, was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions and needs. Only issue was the internet connection was slower than we'd like, but otherwise, a perfect getaway in Wisconsin's northwoods. The lake was also extremely scenic, serene, with some great fishing!!

Great place and location

This is a comfortable place with plenty of room for the 5 of us plus one baby. It is a short drive from boat rental and directly across lake from restaurant. There were plenty of things to stay busy rain or shine with dock, kayak, paddle board, fire pit, eagle watching, indoor and outdoor games, videos, TV, grill, and all indoor cooking needs. There was clear and helpful information from owners.

Clean, Beautiful & Relaxing

Property was extremely clean. The owners were very responsive to all forms of communication. Beautiful property and the views were amazing. Lake Tomahawk was great to kayak and see loons on less windy days; however, kayaking to and up the Tomahawk Thoroughfare was perfect on all days (plus great for seeing bald eagles! and other wildlife). Overall, having a TV upstairs would have been nice and having internet capabilities would have added to the relaxing atmosphere.

Peaceful Stay in a Great Location

Eagle's nest is a delightful place to stay. The owner, Scott, was quick responding to our needs. The location is beautiful and close to all we wanted to explore. Wish there was more than one set of keys given to us. Also, the cleaning crew needs to step it up. We had to do minor cleaning when we arrived. Note: the cabin's deck faces north.

We had an amazing time staying here. We rented a fishing boat for the weekend and parked it at the dock. Had a great time running around the property. My kids (7, 6, and 3) loved fishing off the dock and exploring! Thank you!

Great Property and Great Communication

We had tons of fun. Being across from Lakeside, I was originally worried about boat traffic causing waves and potentially damaging the boat at the dock. However, the dock is brand new, very sturdy, and well protected. Hardly a wave rocked the boat. The house was awesome. Plenty of space for sleeping and multiple places to hang out. Scott let us use the fishing boat, paddle board, and games in the garage. It made for a great stay. Lots of parking too.
