The West Canada cabin was outstanding. Beautiful location with a great view of the lake right from the windows/decks. All of the conforts of home within the cabin, beds were comfy, kitchen was well appointed, had plenty of towels and having the washer/dryer was definitely quite helpful. Emily and the Kuyahoora staff were excellent in accomodating our needs with a late arrival and communicating with us. Highly recommend this resort and the cabin for any group of 6 to 8 people.

The property was beautiful! The lake view, the peace and quiet, the access to Paddle Boards and Kayaks and the service from Emily our host made our stay so enjoyable. Having a restaurant on the property was also great, the food and service was excellent.

Quick getaway

We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable setting, everything you need is right there. We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. Really nice spot, super nice people, Especially Emily, very talented and charming host. We will be back!!

Family vacation

Had a great time, property was clean and well stocked with essentials, outdoor space was lovely, and kayaks and paddle boards were great fun. We spent most of the time outside but the teens enjoyed their space and of course the wifi ! The staff was always available if we needed anything. Would definitely go again!

Hidden Gem in Upstate New York

Kayaks and paddle boards available on the property, which is on the lake. Great fire pit with firewood. Everything in the place was spotless and in working condition. Very responsive and efficient management. We loved renting a pontoon with amazing captain Al! Everyone in our family had a blast tubing! Beautiful waterfalls a short drive away. All around 5 stars!!!

A hidden gem at the gateway to the Adirondacks

Hinckley Lake lies at the southwestern corner of the Adirondacks, and as such is less well-known than some of the lakes in the heart of the park. But the lake, and the Kuyahoora Resort, are beautiful and worth exploring - and serve as an excellent jumping-off point for exploration of the area. The West Canada cottage is modern and well-appointed, with a very nice view over the lake. As part of the Kuyahoora Resort, the cottage has access to kayaks and SUP boards, as well as rental of pontoon boats. We deeply enjoyed our stay.

Three generations together for a vacation.

Everything was great! We had a fun time especially on the water with the paddle boards and kayaks. The cabin is beautiful with all that’s needed to have a wonderful vacation. This was the perfect place for us to get together - it had been a long time! I highly recommend it.

Happiness on Hinckley Lake

It was A very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. My family loved the home, the beach, the yard, and the boats provided! It was truly a memorable trip and so peaceful. Kim, the property manager, Was amazing and extremely helpful. Overall 5 star !!
