A weekend in Waiheke

We love staying at Palm Heights! Our kids love the nook under the stairs especially! Fab location, love Palm Beach and Arcadia’s coffee and toasties 👍 can’t wait to return!

Like a tree house

We all loved our stay.The access was a bit tricky for our 2 years old but she managed and we all got rewarded by a peaceful flat nesteld in the bush.Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We all thought we would like to come back. Communication was great and helpful. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Awesome place, great spot!

I had a lovely stay, the owners were great and responsive. It was lovely to sit back and hear the nature. Comfy bed, clean and private. Had everything I needed. Great location too, catching the bus was easy and close walk to a lovely beach. Owners provided great instructions on how to get to the place by bus.

All facilities excellent. Multiple steep steps not suitable for elderly. Wonderful bush setting with birdlife. Peaceful. Hosts friends and helpful. Lovely balcony

Lovely Hideaway but tricky Track

Quiet quirky spacious cabin with deck and vista on a bushy hill, lovely host living above. However the path is very difficult, and I would only recommend this place to able-footed folk, honestly I really struggled with heavy bags up and down, and nearly twisted my ankle😕. Anew stairs would make it perfect🙏

Good clean and tidy property well located for access to the beach etc. The access path is a bit of a challenge and perhaps should be clearly documented we are in our late 70’s and would suggest it is not the best for that age group. Otherwise very happy with the property.

The property was perfect for our group staying only one night and consisting of 4 adults...but the stairs up through the bush certainly would be no good for older folk or young families as it is a bit of a climb and quite uneven steps...you certainly tried to make the least trips possible!!

Fantastic Month Stay!

Lance and Trish are amazing hosts and we greatly enjoyed our stay
.so clean, and generous breakfast goodies, and well-equipped in every aspect to have all you need. Loved having a washer and dryer and they work great. Two great fans keep you cool—never needed A/C. Re the picture accuracy— a few indoor areas need a little updating but the deck outside has been greatly expanded with newer furniture, a big grill, and nice large table. It’s just lovely and stretches across the big bedroom French doors as well as the living room. The patio is a highlight for sure! As noted in the listing and stressed by the host at booking, it really is a significant climb up from the street—helped us burn off all those wine-tasting calories! Not for mobility impaired or small kids. Waiheke is a very hilly island so be prepared if you don’t have a car. We didn’t but it has great bus service! Palm Beach is wonderful! We stayed an entire month and would happily do it again! We loved the view, the breeze up there, all the tropical foliage and birds singing, and the hospitality of the hosts!

Peaceful and relaxing stay in Palm Beach

We enjoyed our stay here, had a nice time exploring Waiheke then coming back to the apartment to relax. It was nice and peaceful sitting outside on the deck having a wine. The apartment was comfortable and warm. Having the continental breakfast was a nice touch, it was great that we were able to cook ourselves some breakfast without having to bring the ingredients with us, it made it that much more enjoyable!

Great hideaway..

Nice little apartment--good size for our 2 young kids and us. Parking for 1 car provided-then a short walk up a steep path (we were on a 3 week trip w/ a full car--we left most of our gear in the car). Apartment was clean, and owners provided clean linens/ towels, VERY comfortable bed. From the outside deck you have a partial seaview. Owners are on upper level of house, but we didn't notice them at all--hopefully they didn't notice us either (2 small kids aren't always quiet).

Palm Beach hideaway.

Great place. Nice 10 min walk to beach. Bookabach didn't send address and owner details until about 4pm on the day of arrival. We got there in the end and enjoyed it very much.
