Welcome to the Waters home at Ships Watch! This home has amazing views of the sound and is a short walk or bike ride to award-winning restaurants, shopping and the boardwalk in the town of Duck. Ships Watch is a resort community with a community pool and hot tub and will be the perfect place for you and your family to spend your vacation. In peak season there are weekly events for the whole family and you will love staying at Ships Watch!

Beautiful sunsets

The Waters house is on the sound side. The views are wonderful and the sunsets spectacular. The home is fully equipped with everything our family needed to fully enjoy our week. We would definitely return.

An amazing stay at the "waters" house in Duck

We stayed at "Waters" for a week in June 2022. We are a family of 4 and were looking for a relaxed beach vacation. The house and the Ships Watch community ended up being everything we were looking for and more. The house is beautifully designed and decorated. It is absolutely clean and comfortable and the owners thought about everything needed for a perfect vacation. The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, showers are great, all linen is included, which we appreciate. We loved the separation between the bedrooms and the living space. the kitchen has everything needed for cooking, the porches are wide and comfortable with the best breeze and best sunsets. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the sunset every day. There are so many books and games which were a nice surprise. living room has a great sound system for TV and music. The storage has everything needed for a day at the beach, and the outside shower is a lot of fun. The community pool is big, clean and fun and it is literally a minute walk from the house (need to cross the main road - which is the only down side I can think of). We also had some great events at the pool like neighbors meet-and-greet BBQ and Bingo, which were lots of fun. The community's beach is 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive from the house (there is parking spaces next to the beach entrance). The beach is clean and friendly and a serves as a lovely morning walk. We also loved the town of Duck. the town is small but has everything needed for a great vacation - Food, shopping activities, equipment rentals and the best donuts we had in a while. The host was great and answered any question we had immediately. All in all this was one of the best places we have ever vacationed in.

Great house and location

The house had beautiful views across the sound with wonderful sunsets. The beach is a short walk or even shorter drive and the large community pool is just across the street. One evening we all, including my 93 yr old mother, walked down to the beach to spot the ghost crabs and perseid meteor shower. We really appreciated that the house comes stocked with all the beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, etc) so we did not have to bring that from home. The kitchen was also very well stocked. Since it is shared ownership, there were no leftover condiments so bring those with you. We also took many walks into town, as it was only a 10-15 minute walk to the top of the boardwalk, even my mother did. The property manager was very friendly, helpful and responsive. A great week!
