This off grid cabin is beautifully presented, and true to the description. The hosts provided a comprehensive manual, including how all the off grid features worked, and delightful bush walks in the area. We had an amazing, relaxing weekend, and will certainly return!

Introverts Paradise

What an amazing place to stay to get away from it all. Super quiet location where the bird song enhances the tranquility. Lovely log burner to keep the place warm, and extremely comfortable beds. Hosts are very welcoming ☺️

This place is magic. I arrived in need of rest and and time to myself, and left 3 days later feeling recharged and ready to tackle my life again. Total peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful off the grid experience

We loved our xmas stay at Longspur. It was relaxing peaceful and everything we wanted it to be. Beautiful cabin with lovely detail. Listened to the birds and totally switched off from technology Perfect!

Fantastic place to stop moving!

A perfect weekend get away after a few crazy busy weeks. Fantastic private location, comfortable bed and great bush setting. A little oasis of calm. Perfect! Communication from the owner was exceptional and all went smoothly. I think we will be back....

Didn't actually make it out to the property as my wife wanted to go to the Napier Deco Festival. The host was very accommodating and understanding. All that could be asked was delivered- hope to make it out there some day!

Perfect place to recharge and decompress.Insteuctions to get there were spot on and i arrived to a spotless cabin.Opening the doors to the deck all i could hear were birds and sheep.I instantly felt weight lift.Lit thw fire, relaxed and then slept deeply in a super comfy bed.Perfect weekend.I will definitely come back.

Absolutely Stunning

We really loved our time here at Longspur Eco Cottage, a great way to recharge and revitalize the mind, body and soul. Surrounded by the Ngahere (bush) and listening to the Karanga (call) of the all Manu (birds). My Partner asked me to marry him on New Years Day 2022 so this place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks again Tineke & Stew

Our second time. Everything was mint, fire cranking. Love being off the grid no kids and some alone with the wife time. Boom, we loved it.
