Great little cottage by the beach

We stayed here a few nights while visiting New Zealand and it was great. The beach is a short walk away and some other things were just a short drive. The Flat White Cafe right on the beach is a must.

The bach was perfect; great location with only a few minutes walk to the beach as well as the main street of shops. Very well fitted out with everything you may need. Well decorated with great artwork throughout. Very friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Bach 28! Great location close to the shops, surf club, cafes and right opposite a cut through to the beach. The bach was private, clean, and bigger than expected. The perfect getaway for our family with a 5 year old and 2 year old and we would absolutely book here again!

Great Bach

Friendly hosts, easy check-in and check-out, and good location. Attended a wedding at Flatwhite — only a 10 min walk to restaurant/beach, and 10 min walk to the main street of stores and shops. Thanks for the stay!

Cosy on a cold and windy weekend

We really enjoyed the wood burning fire over our stay, it was windy and cold, but the bach had a cosy relaxed feeling. The bach was tidy and everything worked well. Thanks for the stay.

Great Cosy Bach

We had a great stay in this well appointed Bach. Great style, clean and comfy. Awesome fire. Great communication with Terry and had everything we needed. A few streets from the beach and super close to town. Would stay again A++

Quaint and Perfect!

Perfect little bach, has everything you need. Short walk around the corner to the beach, and very well presented! If we are ever back in Waihi Beach we know where we are staying!

Wonderful Bach

Great place to stay, very nicely decorated and everything you need. Perfect location with everything within walking distance. The only negative was the uncomfortable bed in the master bedroom.

Hi Paul, thanks for your feedback, glad you enjoyed your stay at batch28. Sorry to hear that the bed wasn't to your liking, we have never had any feedback before about it not being comfortable. I guess beds are such a personal thing, I personally always enjoy a great nights sleep when I stay there.
