Simple clean room in a private house. Pleasant Hosts. Extremely easy access to northbound Patricia Bay Hwy. Slightly convoluted but quick access southbound. Far enough from the Hwy to have no noise. Nice place to stay if you just need a reasonably priced room and you are going to be out exploring or working and eating in restaurants.

Host wasn’t all that communicative. Great shower though the pipes screamed a fair amount. The bed just had a single sheet laying across the top of the mattress and a comforter that was something unexpected. Mattress was comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well supplied.

The property is clean and quiet. It's a bit far away from the Downtown area but is very close to Cordova Bay and Elk lake. The manager / owner is kind and helpful. The owner might not be reachable over call at times but is helpful in person.

Property was nice, clean ,orderly. It was just a bit loud, as voices carried easily on the main floor into the evening which was a bit disruptive. I am sensitive to noise though.

Was listed on VRBO which are unoccupied vacation rental. This was one master bedroom. I was intending to share with nephew and cook all of meals on vacation. I found a hotel with a kitchenette. I didn’t stay at this property with the owners home and a 2nd bedroom sold to another stranger A very unsafe environment for a woman traveling alone to visit her nephew in Victoria.

A huge thank you to the family! Everyone was incredibly nice and easy-going. The property owner went above and beyond to help me catch my flight when the Uber driver was 23 minutes away. I woke him up at 5:55 AM, and he kindly offered to drive me from his home to the airport, ensuring I made my 6:25 AM flight. The largest disappointment with the property is that it was not clear that this was a room within a house with a shared space; therefore my expectation was not aligned. Unfortunately the connection between Expedia and VRBO does not work properly and alerts and communications did not make it through between me and the host. This resulted in quite a bit of confusion on check in.
