This house is a dream. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a vacation. Check-in was easy and the 'bungalow' was very clean upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had every tool/gadget one could think of. We spent our days lying by the pool and reading at night in the screened-in porch. Pure serenity and we never wanted to leave! Exceptional property!

Asbury Gem

Our family got to enjoy a week down the shore while staying in this beautiful home in Asbury Park. The home was beautifully decorated and cozy with lots of room to spread out our extended family of 8. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well stocked kitchen and dining al fresco by the pool. The house had everything needed to enjoy a day at the beach or lounge by the pool. Hope to stay here again!

Even Better The Second Time

This was my second time staying at this fabulously well-appointed house. It was a perfect size for my sister and our 4 children ages 18-25. There were several places to congregate together - the pool and dining room were our favorites, as well plenty of spaces to read or relax quietly alone. The owner was very responsive to any questions, the house was very clean, the location was perfect - walkable to the boardwalk as well as to Cookman and the neighborhood was quiet. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

VRBO as it was meant to be

This really is a wonderful place to spend some time. Easy to everywhere, kids(young adults) walked home from the beach no call for a ride. The house itself wraps its arms around and says you are home. Truly delightful.

Amazing House! Everything you need!

This house is perfect for family/friend gatherings. It looks exactly as the listing shows--if not better. The kitchen is completely stocked; the best rental kitchen we've ever had. The house is gorgeous with excellent A/C on hot days and a gorgeous pool. The house has everything you need--towels, beach chairs and blankets, lawn games, pool floats, indoor games. It's a fabulous location very close to the beach. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks for the wonderful week.

Couldn’t ask for more!

Second time renting this beautiful property and it was as lovely as the first! This home has all amenities, a gracious and helpful host and all the comforts of home. The pool is luscious, the interior soothing and welcoming , with plenty of room and space to never feel crowded! I highly recommend this home.

Great location and space

We truly enjoyed our stay at 1405 Comstock - it was perfect for our group of 7 which included family members ages 15-70; lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to be together as well as have private time. The pool was great - and we enjoyed night swims and evenings by the fire pit. Great for the dog and walked to the 8th St dog beach every morning. Owner was extremely responsive with any questions. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely return and recommend!

Lovely property in beautiful uptown Asbury Park!

This home is really special. The yard and pool are so pretty. The house is comfortable and perfectly appointed with all the conveniences. We love the neighborhood, close to Deal Lake in Asbury Park’s loveliest area.

Great experience

The property is beautiful! Awesome house, AC, pool, yard, outdoor furniture and everything you need for a great stay - loads of towels for beach and home, plenty of paper goods and supplies for bathrooms and kitchen, fully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine. 20 min walk to beach. Only suggestion I would make is to let people know how many steps there are throughout the house, four floors and multiple levels. Also, the steps leading to the two third floor bedrooms have a low ceiling that might be less desirable for some guests.

We couldn't have possibly enjoyed our two weeks more!

Our vacation was perfect. Darren's house had everything we could have possibly needed. The pool area is beautiful - and the fact that it gets full sun from morning to night really allowed us to maximize our time out there. The yard is completely fenced in which was such a treat for our dogs and the high shrubs give so much privacy (not that you really needed it since during our stay school wasn't in session and the block is cute and quiet). The outdoor shower was another favorite of ours. House is beautifully decorated, kitchen was extremely stocked, beds were comfortable and pool floats, lawn games and bikes were just added bonuses. The location also can't be beat - just about a mile from the beach/boardwalk, a few minutes walk to coffee at Booskerdoo, and only about 1.5 miles in the other direction to Wegmans, Target, etc. Both Darren and Amy (property manager) were extremely responsive and helpful. We would hands down come back again! Thanks both!!

The perfect house!

From the moment we checked in with Amy the house manager we felt immediately at home. The house looks even better then the pictures! The owners did a wonderful job of not only designing the perfect getaway home but the details of every room were impressive. We utilized every room in the house whether it was the screened in porch for coffee every morning, the formal living room for cocktails in the evening, living room when we watched a movie and of course the kitchen to prep our meals for the grill. We stayed for 12 days and didn’t hit the beach once. The pool and lounge area outside was our oasis for the entire stay. The house was extremely clean and even though it’s an older home it felt brand new. We can’t wait to come back next summer!!!

Private and beautiful

I love this home. It is quiet and private within this gated yard and house. The pool is inviting and it is so comfortable lying around the pool, listening to music, reading, and chatting with friends and family. i love sitting on the screened in porch having coffee in the morning and also as the sun sets. Bikes were provided for riding around the town. The beach, boardwalk, shops and restaurants are wonderful.

Gorgeous Home with All the Amenities

What a beautiful home. The house is spacious and well-appointed yet warm and inviting throughout. The owner(s) clearly have an eye for interior design. We spent much of our time in the pool and yard area, which is beautifully manicured and quite private. It was perfect for grilling and eating al fresco. The house is a quick five-minute bike ride to the boardwalk and beaches (bikes provided). I don't think we could have picked a better home base for exploring Asbury Park.

Beautiful Home and Grounds

We stayed in this home for a week in the summer of 2014. The home itself is wonderful. Once you arrive and close the high gates behind you, it's a big slice of heaven. However, once you leave the gated property, you are in a whole different world. Lets just say, you probably won't be going for an after dinner stroll in the neighborhood. Additionally, getting our deposit back took about a month.

Fantastic home!!!

We fell in love with this house!! We didn't want to leave the property all week. It's so well appointed with furnishings, utensils, linens, etc. It has so many charming nooks and crannies. It's huge. The outdoor area is spectacular. The pool is very large with plenty of room and outdoor dining. There are 2 large grills. Asbury Park itself is a lot of fun and the beach is close and easy to get to from the house. We are definitely going back and renting this house.

My dream house

Can't say enough great things about this house. Fluffly white linens, big comfortable couches, amazing pool, completely equipped garage (with bicycles, rafts for the pool, etc.) and a kitchen/pantry that seems like it was outfitted by Martha Stewart. Feels homey...but without all the clutter. Highly recommend it.

Amazing house...we will definitely be back!

Spacious, superbly decorated, well stocked and incredibly comfortable. These owners thought of everything! Our family spent some great afternoons by the pool and had some great cook-outs in the yard. Definitely a memorable weekend...already booked for next summer!

Our story is a simple one - We were 3 friends who fell in love with Asbury Park which was a honky tonk town 20 years ago. At that time, there was nothing open on the boardwalk & downtown was deserted on Cookman. Since then many friends have visited - to enjoy the beach, have backyard barbeques, & supported a town that has become the creative unique destination that it is today.

Our home is the kind of place you have a hard time leaving once you arrive... It's the perfect city get-away to invite friends to relax. I love the privacy of the property location, relaxing by the pool, bike rides to explore the boardwalk, & the surrounding NJ beach towns.
