10/10!! host was extremely helpful and friendly. Great home - bigger than it looks in photos. The lake is huge and full of fish. (Fyi VERY shallow lake) Our family had a wonderful time and would happily stay again.

Had a great stay for an adult golf weekend. Everyone had their own sleeping space and the deck and view of the water was awesome. We made use of the fire pit in the evening and had a nice relaxing weekend

Summer Lake Vacation

What an amazing stay! The cottage was clean, cozy, and beautiful. The property was perfect with plenty of sun and shade, not to mention the amazing view. We took day trips to Traverse City and the Platt River Beach on Lake Michigan. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better property and location for our up north get away!

The large outdoor deck was a highlight for us: comfortable seating, dining table, fire table and fine views of Lake Mitchell facing the undeveloped shore across the lake. Loons and bald eagles were among the wildlife we saw on the lake. We also used the fire pit near the shore, with firewood provided, and the kayaks. There are houses close by on either side: One is nicely screened by lattice work and vegetation, the other with large shrubs, but above the shrubs a large window looks out over the deck.The inside is comfortable, but we wondered why there is no bedside table or lamp between the two beds in the largest bedroom, number 3.We enjoyed hiking the Mitchell State Park trail, about 2.5 miles, and the Cadillac Pathway, about 2 miles. In Cadillac we liked the food and beer at Clam Lake Beer Co. and Raven Social. We found reasonably priced items at the antique/resale shop in the same area. The waterfront area downtown was nice, including a fountain, splash pad and gas fire pit.

Cute lakefront 3 bedroom cottage

What a great weekend getaway. Stayed in the early spring and didn't really get to enjoy the outdoor space (cold weather) but what a great spot! Just steps from the water with a great deck and wonderful view of the lake through windows all along the back of the house. Saw bald eagles, otters, geese, ducks & lots of birds.

Best view! Great waterfront cottage

Excellent! Solid sandy bottom. Great fishing right off the dock. Great little neighborhood quiet road. Close to so many conveniences shops, stores, great restaurants, trails, golf and nature galore. The house was newly remodeled and with two full bathrooms and laundry it was all we needed.

June Family Gathering

We loved the space and location of the home, it was comfortable and clean. Property contact responded in a timely manner. The only draw back was unusually warm temps for June, air conditioners were not yet installed. I would rent again.

Charming cottage

This cute cottage on lake Mitchell was perfect for my families stay in July. This house has a great set up and has beautiful views of the lake. My kids loved playing in the sand and shallow waters by the dock, as we sat on the huge deck and watched. Another great feature is its right around the bend from a fun sandbar that we parked our boat at. Very clean and well kept. We are already talking about coming back next summer.

Clean, Calm, and quiet!

We loved the set up of this cottage. With three bedrooms, everyone had their own space. The large and open living room/kitchen was great for relaxing and reading a book or watching a movie at night. With the view facing an undeveloped portion of the lake we saw Bald Eagles landing on the ice and enjoyed watching other birds come and go. Would definitely recommend.

Quaint cottage

This place was awesome for my family of 4 and friends family of 4. We stayed here and went skiing at caberfet. Beautiful views with winter snow. We had fun going on the frozen lake too. Close to town with many options for bars and restaurants. We had fun just staying in and cooking and playing games. Perfect set up for 2 families. Very clean. Would highly recommend. We might come back for summer!
