Farm Stay Accommodation: The Truffle Hut is where you can take in the mountain views. Inside, you'll find premium linens, a coffee maker for your morning brew, and an all-season air conditioner for year-round comfort. Entertainment options include a TV, while the space is decorated with modern decor. There is a large outdoor deck with seating area for lounging with a sun/rain umbrella. Dining table and BBQ. Below is a winding path to a fire pit with 4 outdoor lounge chairs and wood to take in the views of the stars in the evening.

What a great rental place and such a wonderful host! The view is spectacular and you are sure to see many eagles while enjoying the huge private deck. The property has all that you need and is extremely comfortable. Great location for a long term stay for families or as a couple. We will definitely renting this place again!

Had a lovely time at this clean, comfortable and well appointed suite. Roomy, completely private and quiet. We enjoyed the deck and view of the fields. Loved the farm setting. A short drive into the center of town and beaches. Loved cooking on the BBQ.

unique experience on farm near golf

We booked a short golf vacation and headquarted it from the very comfy Truffle Hut with short walk to Morningstar Golf Course. We had all kinds of helpful communication from Virginia leading up to the trip including a Stay and Play arrangement with Morningstar which turned out to be our fav course in the area. The accomodation appears as brand new and is modern and extremely comfortable although the loft is only for the agile :) It has an amazing deck with pasture and mountain views. Lots of life on the farm and extremely private and peaceful. We are very grateful for a one of a kind stay in a beautiful area!

We loved our stay at the Truffle Hut. The suite was thoughtfully designed and made the stay for our family of 4 quite comfortable, with a cozy kid’s loft and a sofa bed in addition to the main bedroom. Virginia and Pete were wonderful gracious hosts, making us feel welcome while ensuring that we had plenty of privacy. The location was great for setting off for a day trip on the north end of the island but also had nice options for local outings. I would emphatically recommend saying yes! to a breakfast offer of fresh sourdough bread, farm fresh eggs, local jam and truffle butter. We also enjoyed spending time chilling on the large walkout patio, taking in the scenic view of fields, forests and distant hills. A fantastic setting for a relaxing morning coffee, barbecue, sunset or star gazing. We would definitely come back here on a return trip to Vancouver Island.

We had a wonderful stay at the Truffle Hut! Virginia was absolutely lovely and so welcoming. The space was clean, organized and very comfortable. Our two kids (5 and 8) had a great time exploring the farm and even found a frog in the creek. The view from the deck was so stunning and we had a few meals out there just to soak it all up. We learned about the history of the truffle farm and felt so at home there. If we come back to Parksville we will definitely try to stay here again.

We enjoy sharing our property since it is fully private yet very close to town. The property has a special vibe to get away from your busy life. We border the golf course and there are lots going on around us but within minutes you are in your peace and tranquil get away.
