Points faibles : Propreté, commodités, état et installations de l’hébergement et communication.

I do NOT recommend staying at this place. The host doesn’t care about his guests and speaks very rudely. When we arrived, the studio was disgustingly dirty — there was hair in the bathroom and feces in the toilet. We contacted the host, Adrian, and he claimed he was not aware of the condition of the unit. He insisted the place was clean and kept asking for more photos, then photos from different angles. He also told us that the cleaning crew would come tomorrow and promised a $50NZ credit but he never gave it. The host is not friendly and is a liar, making promises he doesn’t keep. This entire process was frustrating and took away from our time to enjoy the city, just to prove how dirty the place was. The floor was dusty and had old stains on it. Other reasons why this is the worst place to book: • Far from the city center — about a 25-minute drive. • Ongoing construction behind and in front of the unit ( the host mentioned in the description). • Very hard to reach the host. After many attempts and contacting both VRBO and Expedia, he finally responded. • The host is not friendly like most people in New Zealand and is not willing to solve any issues during the stay. • This unit is managed by a third party through VRBO, and the support is TERRIBLE. They could not help us at all and repeatedly told us that if we left, the host would not refund our stay. We wanted to check out the same night, but VRBO could NOT guarantee we would get our money back.

Points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication, emplacement, exactitude de l’annonce

Lovely area, golf course, tennis courts, playground and sports fields all within 5 min walking distance. Amazing views of the mountains which had some snow on them. Property had a washer and dryer as well which helped us get through some washing very easily while we were there which is awesome in a small place. House is also very warm, hardly needed the heat pump on at all. 10/10 would stay again.
