All units have fully equipped kitchen, screened in porch, washer and dryer, electric fireplace (except in studios) and TV’s in all rooms. Fairfield Plantation offers all the comforts of home with the seclusion and relaxation you expect when on vacation.
This truly stunning lake front condominium offers all the comforts with an oversized master bedroom open to a spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate large shower. The open deck invites to lounge around and for romantic outdoor dining there is a screened-in porch. The guest bedroom, also facing the lake, features two queen beds with its own bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar is open to the living room with dining nook and fireplace. The half bath across the kitchen offers added comfort.

Did the job but frustrating

Styled a little like an unfinished Mexican restaurant, with things fairly piecemeal and slapped together. Definitely not attention to detail. A screen was broken on the screened in porch and when I took a shower, the entire shower door popped out when trying to close it and I had to scramble, soaking wet, to get it back in. My friends and I came out to meet each other here and see other friends in Georgia. We wanted to have people over one night for cake and dinner to celebrate birthdays, but we couldn't because this place requires you to give every person's name at the guardhouse and they have to park at the marina. I wouldn't have cared so much had this been in the listing so that I was aware, but nothing in the listing made the difficulty having guests apparent. We had to change plans last minute and not have people over because of this after planning for some time. The positive is that the location is gorgeous and the beds are comfy. Generally beds that are not your own suck, but I found these were great, so I did get good night's sleep at least. I suggest to the host to better explain the parking and guardhouse situation in the listing, so that people can better make an informed decision with staying with you. Had I known I could have made other plans after of time or just found another listing and I'd have had less negatives about my stay. Awareness is key!

Family vacation

Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The surrounding facilities are nice (pool, beach, playground, walking trails). The house itself is okay- the living room area and bedrooms were much bigger then it appears in the photos. There were things that seemed to be quickly and cheaply "repaired"... the screen porch screens were unattached, the shutters on the back doors make them difficult/near impossible to open, one bathroom door is just notched out around the toilet so the door will open, etc. Overall, it was pretty clean when we arrived and our host was quick in responding and checked in to make sure things were going well.
