The Space: Escape to this peaceful, family-friendly home in Lenah Valley, just a short drive from the heart of Hobart. With spacious living areas, a large garden perfect for exploring, and a sunny outdoor area with fire pit, this property is beautifully presented for guests of all ages.
Lovingly styled, the light filled home has been carefully appointed and the walls adorned with the owners own artworks to ensure guests stay in total comfort and style.
A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances such gas cooktop, induction microwave, pod coffee machine and dishwasher makes dining-in an easy alternative to eating out.
The open-plan living and dining areas are central to the home and offer spaces to dine and relax with large TV and sound bar and a cocktail making set for those extra special occasions. This open-plan area also features a wood heater for added cosiness in the winter months or split system heating/cooling for ease.
Two generous sized bedrooms, both with queen sized beds are at the front of the house, one with built-in robes. Both beds are gas-lift operated for easy storage of suitcases and extra items.
As you enter the property you are welcomed to a large entry foyer where you will find a desk, monitor, webcam and high speed WiFi to make those working holidays more comfortable.
Modern and spacious bathroom with frameless walk-in shower, brand new vanity and tiles complement the homes artistic and luxurious edge. There is also a separate laundry with washer/dryer and all your laundry essentials.
At the rear of the home, enjoy the sun soaked private backyard to get lost in a good book, sip your morning coffee or light up the fire pit for a cosy evening under the stars. And, at the front of the home the gardens have been lovingly terraced and manicured.
Located in one of Hobart’s quieter suburban neighbourhoods, you’ll enjoy strolls meandering the New Town Rivulet right outside the front steps, the Lenah Valley Labyrinth with sculptures and many more hikes that take you through nature right on your doorstep.
The property is just a 10–15-minute drive from the Hobart CBD, waterfront and Salamanca Place to enjoy the culinary delights, art and cultural wonders the city has to offer.
Cafes and local grocers are just minutes from the front door – enjoy Salamanca Fresh for local produce or Whisk & Co. for coffee and a bite just a 3 minute drive from the property or Hill Street Grocer further down the road is a 5 minute drive.
