The apartment was in a great location. The host was accommodating when my plans changed at the last minute and I ended up traveling with my dog. The apartment was clean and welcoming.One recommendation would be to have more towels and washclothes available for guests.

The apartment was at a great location in a very quiet neighborhood. Check-in was easy and the staff of on point with any questions or concerns we had. Only issue we seen alive cockroaches and mice droppings in the kitchen.

From the owner: Thank you for your review. We are very sad to hear of this experience.   We have not had any issues with pests at the property.  This is the first we have heard of anything like this.  We also have never had any mice in the house, but due to the door being open consistently during your stay, they appeared.   The mice have been taken care of, but they did not appear until you were at the property.   We're sorry that you did not follow the house rules. We were also disappointed that you had more guests than you originally booked for.  Again, we are sorry for your poor experience and wish you well in the future.

Disappointed

Went during a very cold time in upstate NY.Entered the residence and there was no heat. It was 58 degrees...if the old thermostat was correct.Communicated with host ,waited an hour with our coats on. They did get someone out and it was supposedly fixed....but we had already left, after waiting an hour, for a local hotel. Here is why...1) just looking at the original thermostat to the older home made us not so confident that we would continue to have heat all night. 2) there were 2 window air conditioners STILL in the windows with NO covers on the outside. One of these units was in the bedroom...it has been very cold and windy lately and cold air was coming in.My husband and I just did not feel secure with the heating situation when the temperatures were in the teens. We were concerned the heat would go out again in the middle of the night on top of the air units allowing cold air in. Street parking was a bit confusing also.We are hoping for a refund but it does not seem likely.While it seems like a great price....you get what you pay for.in.

Hi Rebecca, we're sorry to hear your stay fell short of expectations. The homeowner would like to address your concerns:- When you reached out about the heat, we immediately had it checked out, and it was fixed within 45 minutes. The furnace is only two years old and has been reliable, with no previous issues.- While the window air conditioners remain in place, they are sealed with foam weather stripping to prevent drafts, and the rooms have dedicated heat sources. Additionally, the curtains provide an extra layer of insulation.- Parking information is clearly outlined in the binder provided in the unit, specifying where to park on different nights. Many guests have found these instructions helpful.Thank you for letting us know about your visit.
