Stilleven is even better than the pictures. The house is impeccable, the kitchen is totally equipped, the furniture is well appointed, the primary bedroom bed is very comfortable with a high quality mattress, and, of course, the ocean bay views are spectacular. Lori, the host was excellent throughout our stay.

The home was luxurious and beautiful. There are Ocean views from every room. The master suite is spa like and has an amazing deck to enjoy the view. The kitchen well equipped and ready for any chef. Our family had an amazing stay at Stilleven and we look forward to returning again soon.

The most AMAZING stay!

I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this one was hands down the most amazing property I have been to. It had every amenity possible (you name it, it had it). The outdoor fireplace was a fantastic touch with ample wood stock. It left us not wanting to explore the area as this place had astounding views on its own and the luxury finishes were noted!

Feltzen South Getaway on the water

It was the perfect house for us to relax in…with a well appointed kitchen and comfortable bedrooms…magnificent views of the sunsets and sun rises from the upstairs deck and patios….I loved watching the Bluenose sail out of Lunenburg every day …it was a really lovely comfortable place and a true treat to stay there. I took long walks every day on the quiet road…Thank you for everything.

Of all the places I’ve stayed through VRBO, this may be the very best. A magical, luxurious, and peaceful place surrounded by ocean views and nature. Lori is a fantastic host and has such a sophisticated attention to detail from the linens to the decor to the amenities offered onsite (the Napoleon BBQ is outstanding). Words and photos won’t do Stilleven justice. You have to experience it!

The house was fully equipped up to the last detail. Everything available for daily use. Absolutely clean and and overall fantastic sea view.On our arrival there was a very nice welcome gift.It was definitely the most outstanding house within our complete stay. Repetition is granted. Lori was helpful at any time.

Our stay at Stilleven was a wonderful vacation for our family. Stilleven is a beautiful property. Our host was very easy to communicate with and was prompt in response. Check in was seamless. This beautiful home was the perfect spot for a week with our 3 grown children, son-in-law, and one grandchild. It certainly exceeded our expectations: the view, watching the nearby lobster boats from the windows, nearby hiking, fun on the beach, cozy family time by the fire, cooking in the very well appointed kitchen, easy trips into Lunenburg. While the house has 4 bedrooms and everyone had privacy, it still had a cozy feeling. Icing on the cake: all of the beds were very comfortable,kitchen well appointed for the chefs among us, the spectacular view, the variety of activities in the area had something for everyone in our group, our privacy without neighbors right near by, the ease of driving into Lunenburg for some wonderful restaurants, and our responsive host.

Where to begin!?!?! We had the most fabulous experience staying at Stilleven - the house and the property were stunning! Perfectly perched on the ocean, overlooking Lunenburg Bay - it was amazing! With multiple patios, a firepit and places to sit an enjoy the seaside air - our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this property. As for the inside - just WOW! The most well-equipped VRBO I have ever stayed in - it had everything and we all felt right at home in this space. Each of the bedrooms was well appointed with the comfiest beds, beautiful linens, big closets so we could "move in" and terrific sightlines of the sunrise or the ocean from every window. Lori, our host was amazing too. All of our communication with her was timely and concise and the welcome binder included more than enough information about the house rules, local attractions and places to go. Having "Stilleven" to call home for the week was the best - definitely a holiday and a property that will be remembered! Thank you!

Our time last week at Stilleven was more than just a stay at a very beautiful home. It was an amazing experience. The home’s location on the water offers views of Lunenburg across the bay, the Bluenose as it sails by, and beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed fires under starry skies, and quiet walks along the road for more scenic views. Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, LaHave Island, and several lovely beaches were just a short scenic drive away. You will feel like you have stepped back in time to a simpler, more relaxed, way of life surrounded by beauty.

Magnifique maison dans un site exceptionnel. La vue est époustouflante de toutes les fenêtres! L'arrivée a été facile et la maison était immaculée. On a l'impression d'être les premiers à l'habiter tellement tout est neuf et parfait. La cuisine est impeccable! Grande et pratique.
