The Emerald Forest Retreat is your home away from home - spacious and well equipped with everything you need for a restful stay. Surrounded by nature and your own garden, full of year-round wonder.

The house itself features three unique bedrooms, several living areas, a beautiful kitchen, a dedicated office space, and a large bathroom with shower and spa bath.

The house is surrounded by an all seasons garden, with several sitting areas and your own veggie patch. You will have a lovely green view from every window in the house.

So whether you are hoping to visit the Emerald Lake Park, the Puffing Billy Railway, the Dandenong Ranges National Park, and any of the other countless gardens and wedding venues
or maybe you just want to get away to nature and do some forest bathing (shinrin-yoku), then retire for the day in front of the fire with a cuppa and a good book
your new home is perfectly located for your visit.

Absolutely beautiful house and location, perfect for a winter weekend getaway playing board games with friends. We adored gazing at the gum trees and listening to kookaburras in the day, and hanging by the fireplace at night. Only note is that the third bedroom has a single bed, with another single/day bed on the upstairs landing - we didn’t realise this when we booked as three couples but we made it work. Can’t wait to come back in another season when the kitchen garden is thriving. Thanks so much!

We enjoyed our stay in Emerald. The kitchen and bathroom were light and lovely. Unfortunately we didnt get to try the jacuzzi jets but the spa bath was relaxing. Generally the property was well appointed and clean with only some minor issues. Wood fire heater was great, plenty of firewood provided, perhaps more kindling on site would be helpful. Beautiful fully fenced garden which our dog loved and wonderful views. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Nice place - we stayed there a few weeks. It’s cold up that way but there are three forms of heating so we were warm. Nice location and very close to sights , activities and shops. Would recommended!

Beautiful property in the hills of Emerald! had everything you could need for a few days staying. The hosts had great communication and even provided a really handy list of things to do in the area. We look forward to staying again!
