This property is incredible! It's our second time renting this property and we will be back again. Anything we could possibly need is included. It's close to everything while secluded and close to nature.

Perfect cabin on the river to relax and get away! Host was great, sending instructions for check-in and answering any questions we had quickly. House was well stocked with all the necessities and comforts of home, which is greatly appreciated when traveling so far from home on a last minute detour. My guys had a great time fishing from the small pier and caught several perch, crappie, catfish and carp. We enjoyed the sweet town of Pella as well!

It was so close and convenient to Pella. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking coffee, and listening to the birds and river. We saw bald eagles. It was very clean, and the host was very accessible if we had any questions.

The cabin was clean and spacious with lovely views of the river. It is minutes from Pella. It was the perfect location for our visit for the Tulip festival. Host was responsive. The house especially the kitchen was well stocked. I highly recommend for groups or families.

Awesome location next to the river, even the drive leading up to the house! The house was very clean, well-kept and beautiful- with great amenities. Our family was so happy with our stay here and hope to have more visits in the future!

Amazing Property

The house was so comfortable, clean, and inviting! The kids had a great time in the game room and we had a great time relaxing upstairs. It was also the perfect distance between Pella and Knoxville. The home made for a wonderful weekend familu getaway trip!

We had 8 of us staying for 3 nights. Accommodations were as described. Tight on the Des Moines River. Game room was a real plus for the children with lots of activities.

Too little time

We came for the races at Knoxville and had a wonderful time. The access to the house was great. The cleanliness and everything about the property was comfortable and very enjoyable. The game room was a great time too. Wish we had time to utilize all the opportunities outside. When we come back to Knoxville we hope to rent again and stay longer. Thanks to the host for a wonderful home to share!

My friend and I were in Pella for the tulips and stayed here because of the river. We spent our mornings with coffee on the porch watching the river and the wildlife and our evenings on the porch with wine watching the river and the wildlife. The house was extremely comfortable - hit all the marks for furniture comfort, bed and linens comfort, bathroom amenities, kitchen amenities including either a Keurig or a drip coffee maker. (note: Pods for the Keurig were included but not sure coffee was for the drip coffee maker. We used the Keurig.) We did not access the game room or the third (external) bedroom so cannot comment on those. The owner sent info in advance but also had a book of information at the house which is always appreciated. We drove through a cornfield to get to the house which we found charming - just dusty - but the location was worth the need for a carwash. The only suggestion we have for the owner - and we say this partly in jest - is that a "dumbwaiter" in the garage for lifting luggage up the stairs would be nice! We would rent this house again - it was delightful in every way.
