The place was perfect for my husband and I. Perfect location, close to many attractions less than a 20min drive. Beautiful back yard, my dog was a big fan! Place is located on a busy street and property is not fenced off but my husband and I didn’t mind. Would definitely stay again when visiting Traverse City!

Nice stay

Nice property, centrally located to beach, town and horse show. Everything you needed in kitchen and bathroom. There is street noise, which didn’t bother me, but may bother others.

We enjoyed our stay here. Good value for the price. Cute, cozy, just what we needed. It was on a busy road but other than that, it was a great place to stay for the week.

Very nice stay

Perfect place for a bachelor party if you're looking to spend the majority of your time outdoors. The inside was very nice as well though there is a sign not to flush toilet paper down the only toilet in the house. One of the beds was also crammed into a closet but that was not a big deal as there was still plenty of space for the 7 of us. Overall the stay was very good and the host was timely with all of his responses, would definitely recommend to others!

Disappointed

The pictures of this place are not accurate what so ever. Definitely a very cheap remodel to make it look presentable in a picture. All of the beds upstairs were extremely worn out. Had a mouse run across the kitchen counter, mouse traps in multiple places. The trash cans were out at the road tipped over in the snow banks and no one plowed the driveway after 8” of snow.

Amazing, Quit and comfortable

I'm not gonna lie before we go, we packed so much stuff cuz we know most of the houses do not have everything in there. But when we arrived at the house, it was super clean and smelled good. The owner has great taste in choosing the interior decor. The house had everything, we didn't use most of the stuff that we packed with us. Plus all of that, the house has a great location. It's only a few minutes away from Traverse City Beach and downtown. I'm definitely gonna choose this house if I'm planning to visit Traverse City again

Mice, bats and dirty

Our experience at this property was very much below the standards that we had come to expect in a VRBO property. The condition of the house was not what was shown on the photos in the listing - living room furniture was filthy, walls were badly marred, kitchen cupboards were dirty, mold was present on the bathroom ceiling, thresholds were coming apart (which presented a danger when entering and exiting a room), and no working blinds or curtains on the sliding glass door (presenting a privacy issue). The outdoor table umbrella was falling apart and was unusable. The outdoor bar was overgrown with weeds and totally unusable. There was an underling odor of mold or mildew throughout the house that was not helped by the use of the Frebreze that we found in the cleaning closet. We had both an infestation of mice (we trapped 3 in the kitchen) and bats (2 flew from the living area to upstairs and then back to the fireplace area the morning we left). This may partially explain the odor through out the house and our stay. Things that we would expect in this type of rental like closets in bedrooms, doors on the closets, dressers in each bedroom, clean baking dishes, some kind of blender or mixer, glasses made of glass, dinnerware that was not all plastic, bedside lights, and the promised white noise machine would have improved this property. Along with taking care of the above stated problems.

Perfect stay for our iceman race

The place was clean, spacious, lots of rooms and garage to keep our bikes. Hassan was very responsive to our needs. Communication was excellent if you had questions like where things are. Im definitely recommending the place and might book it again if i join the iceman again next year.

Birthday Stay

We stayed here for one night for my sons 20th birthday & to enjoy Traverse City & the surrounding area. Everything about the property was just as the listing indicated. It was very clean & quite acceptable. The only downside for me was how close the house (master bedroom) was to a busy road. My wife & I had a hard time sleeping, but the rest of the family slept like babies. Hassan was quick to respond to my inquiries & overall it was a pleasant stay!

Cute and cozy!

Perfect place for a girls weekend away. Super close to all the wineries. Accommodations were good. Plenty of room to sleep. Kitchen had everything we needed. Coffee maker and coffee/cream being provided was such a bonus. The smart TVs were so nice to have as well. Clean property. All around great place to stay, would highly recommend. Did not get to use the fire pit due to weather but it was so cute!

Reunion gathering

Began the rental process in the middle of the pandemic not knowing what to expect as time went on. The owner was quick to respond and inform the group if anything had changed, was courteous in communication, and provided a clean environment for our gathering. The location was incredibly convenient, located just a few miles outside of the city, but far enough away where you could enjoy a late bonfire in the woods. The atmosphere was relaxing, with all needed amenities provided to enhance a visit. I was impressed at the consideration that was provided to this space, and hope to return for future gatherings.

Perfect place to stay

We rented the house for a girl trip for a weekend. The backyard is so cute! We spent a lot of time sitting by the creek. It’s very close to downtown but it’s off the main drag so it’s very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely come visit again and very highly recommend!!

Nice place to stay. Clean and updated. Like the ad says, it’s very close to the road, so be prepared to hear cars driving by at night. Location is great though! Host is awesome, responds quickly!

Relaxing & Beautiful

We had a girls weekend and we ended up having a winter storm warning the night we got settled in. It made the experience that much more enjoyable because the backyard and side yard was clearly visible from the beautiful big windows. The whole experience was very relaxing and enjoyable. The only issue we had was that the beds were very uncomfortable. Two of my friends slept on the couches which were more comfortable. But, the overall experience was wonderful. I would rent the property again.

Cozy and convenient

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clear and easy to use, and home was fully stocked with essentials. Conveniently located to be able to enjoy much of traverse city. Highly recommend for bigger groups, as to each people had their own room and privacy.

Perfect place to enjoy Traverse City TC area

We enjoyed our stay at Hassan’s. The house was sparkling clean and very well equipped with very comfortable bedding! Nice place to enjoy everything TC has to offer: lake, beaches, trails...Hassan is an awesome host, he was very responsive on our requests!
