Private Northern Cabin - Fly-In Fishing - Accessed by Charter Aircraft
This is a remote fly-in expedition experience, not a standard vacation rental.
Access is by charter aircraft, and pricing is structured per guest to cover aircraft seating, logistics, supplies, and lodging. Each guest is booked as part of a complete expedition package rather than a nightly room rate.
Gather your family, anglers, and nature-lovers alike for an unforgettable escape into the heart of Northern Saskatchewan! Nestled on secluded Kvamsing Lake, our flyâin camp offers:
The Experience
Unique Floatplane Arrival: Begin your adventure with a scenic, 15-minute floatplane ride from Deschambault Lakeâflying over the boreal forest until you land at your lakeside retreat
Remote Wilderness: Bask in serene surroundings where peaceful solitude meets vibrant wildlife and abundant fishing.
The space
This private cabin is built on an island in a private lake. The only access is by float plane or portaging in. You will be surrounded by uninterrupted tranquility.
The cabin has an outhouse with flush toilets (no sitting over an open hole). There is an indoor hot shower at the lake . The cabin is equipped with solar lights for your convenience.
There are two bedrooms each with two beds and space for 6 to sleep. There is a screened porch and separate common area in the cabin.
The kitchen has all the basic pots, pans and utensils to meet your needs. The cabin has a propane fridge/freezer and cooktop for your use. There is water in the cabin, please note it is not potable and needs to be boiled, filtred, or treated prior to consumption.
This is a light housing keeping cabin so please leave it clean and tidy for the next guest.
There are three boats and two canoes. Gas is supplied. All you need is your fishing gear, food, drinks and a sleeping bag.
We are limited to a total of 40 guests per year.
Check out our Trip Guide on our website for a complete introduction.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire cabin, all the boats and canoes. The entire lake and surrounding outdoors is your play - enjoy.
Other things to note
There is a filleting table and gut tub for your use. Please clean and empty them after each use. This reduces the risk of an unwanted encounter with some of the local inhabitants.
