Be prepared. This is a gorgeous little cabin in lovely scenery but not quite as described. 1. The solar power only lasts for a few hours after dark after a sunny day despite the description stating several days if used conservatively. I contacted the host who reminded me that there are torches & candles. 2 torches, 1 didn’t work. A box of tea candles, a couple of little push button lights that hardly lit up & 4 bucket candles only 1 with that wasn’t used up. Luckily we had a torch. 2. There are no power outlets. Only a USB outlet. I sat in the car for hours charging our phones. Had I known I would have brought our power banks.3. The road in & out is a bit dodgy. Loose gravel & a steep incline. Wheels spun & had to back up to take a faster approach. 4. The loft bedroom is cute but you have to crawl on your hands & knees to get to the bed. 5. We attended a wedding on the last day of our stay. Had to find somewhere else to get ready. When we returned later that night the smell of toilet waste was bad enough that we decided to pack up & go straight home even though we paid for that night. 6. Beds are comfortable but take extra pillows. Only one pillow per person & they are really soft.7. Fireplace is awesome & there is plenty of wood. 8. Place was clean although a few cockroaches in the bathroom at night. 9. Bathroom hand soap supplied no body soap. Combined shampoo & conditioner. 10. Overall, with better description we could have been more prepared & enjoyed our stay
