My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and we had such a wonderful experience! The cabin was extremely clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with plenty of necessities and snacks. We brought our boat, and there was more than enough room to turn around and park easily. We also appreciated being able to plug into the back of the building to charge our batteries.Even with neighboring cabins nearby, it still felt very private, peaceful, and relaxing. The location was also very close to the lake, even though the cabin itself didn’t have a lake view — which honestly didn’t bother us much at all.One thing to note is that the stairs are fairly steep and the railing was a little wide /wiggily , so we probably wouldn’t bring our small children (ages 5 and 1), but for a couples getaway it was perfect. We definitely plan to come back! The host communicated so well throughout our stay, which made everything even better.

We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, peaceful setting, and little extras — snacks are a must! We also appreciate you mentioning the staircase. The stairs are definitely a unique element of the cabin and part of its classic A-frame character. They are constructed from solid iron and securely mounted, but we understand that their design may not be the best fit for very small children or anyone who prefers a more traditional staircase setup. The top cap of the railing is removable by design so the staircase can be fully unbolted if maintenance or repairs are ever needed. We’re so glad the cabin felt private and relaxing for your getaway, and we’d absolutely love to host you both again for another lake week

I was a really nice place to stay within distance of lake. We had a problem trying to figure out the ac unit, was hot the first night then figured it out sat night. Could not find switch to turn on ceiling fan though.
