The Space:
Little Haven Cottage 1 is located in the peaceful town of Balliang, just 17 minutes from the adventure-filled You Yangs Regional Park and only an hour from Melbourne. What's more, we have two tiny houses situated on opposite ends of the property, offering plenty of space to relax and spread out.

Enjoy a peaceful retreat with beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and visits from kangaroos, rabbits, and native birds. For more exploration, visit nearby spots like Werribee Gorge and Serendip Sanctuary Park.

This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home features easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our property is best suited for older children, teenagers, and adults, as the tiny home is on farmland with livestock. Although snakes are rarely seen, they may occasionally be present.

Guest Access:
Guests can access to our cozy tiny home and its surroundings, except for the sheds.

The Neighborhood:
Little Haven Cottage 1 is located in Balliang, just 17 minutes from You Yangs Regional Park, as well as other scenic spots like Werribee Gorge, famous for its rugged landscapes, and Serendip Sanctuary Park, a peaceful wildlife haven for native Australian animals.

Other must-see attractions in the region include Pirra Homestead, Geelong Clay Target Club, World Series Paintball and SSAA Rifle Range, Avalon Raceway, the Avalon Airshow, and Fairy Park, which features fairy tale-themed displays, animal encounters, and fun activities for kids.

Getting Around:
By car:

- Little River and Lara are about 15-20 mins away
- Other destinations are also a 20 min drive away

By public transport:

- There is no public transport nearby.
- Little River Train Station is a 15-20 minute drive away.

Other Things to Note:
- Pets not allowed
- Free Drinking water is provided
- Not suited for children below 15
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home, except outdoors
- Always keep the front gate closed to keep the sheep safe
- Please note that the water tanks behind the sheds supply water for the sheep
- The BBQ grill is not available at the property for safety reasons. Due to the increased fire risk during the summer months, guests are not permitted to use a BBQ on-site.
- Mobile signal is good for Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone. While 2degrees and Spark do not have a signal
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present.  
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
