We had an amazing stay at this house. The place was beautiful, clean, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The views were stunning, and the hot tub and firepit made the stay even better. It had plenty of room for everyone, and the house felt cozy but still very open and comfortable. The location was great for being near Mt. Hood while feeling very peaceful. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice mountain getaway.

First impressions of the house and property: the grass needed to be mowed, there was hair on the floor in the master bath and we found a pair of well loved children’s socks. There isn’t a 9x12 glass baking dish anywhere in the kitchen. Experience of the management company: after a long day of hiking we came home (6:00 pm on Sunday, Mothers Day). When we got out of the car we could hear a smoke alarm shrieking. Checked the house and sure enough, one was going off in the downstairs bedroom-the one with the lifted ceiling about 10 foot high. So, we called VRBO emergency. They said we had to call the management company. We did. They suggested we take it off the ceiling and remove the batteries. 10 foot ceiling. No ladder on the place. Called the management company-they suggested maybe we could borrow one. Three neighbors later, we found a ladder, managed to bring it home. Fell down the stairs trying to get it in the bedroom. Got the screaming smoke alarm off the ceiling and the batteries removed. Returned the ladder to its owner. Paid two hundred dollars in pet fees for traumatized dogs. Even outside wasn’t enough. Paid 1500 dollars to be told the management company wasn’t at fault because they regularly service the property and always check the smoke alarms. The batteries couldn’t possibly be dead. The company did send a person out to check on the smoke alarm on the following day, mid afternoon. The batteries were dead. The management company did nothing. Never again.
