We couldn’t have asked for a better stay or a more perfect property for our salons art retreat. The location with the creek is truly magical, and the house is gorgeous and spacious. Our group loved it so much we are already trying to figure out what dates we can stay again next year. If you have a chance to book a stay here, don’t miss out!

Huge house and property with beautiful creek on premises. Beautiful area. Quiet and secluded. Many spaces to sit and gather together or in smaller groups.

The property is located in a beautiful wooded lot next to a creek. There was plenty of space to play in the yard or fish in the creek. We were also grateful for the wheelchair friendly accommodations that allowed one of our party to be able to participate in all our activities (which can be challenging when renting a VRBO; even one that says it’s accessible). We had a lovely time.

Very charming! Perfect location to Berkshire East mountain. Beds were comfortable and house is adorable. Will be back next year.

The place was very clean and very well-equipped. The kitchen had a multitude of small appliances and the hostess even secured a slow-cooker for us after our inquiry. Baths were well equipped with towels, shampoo and body wash. My only suggestion is that a rubberized mat be provided for the showers which become very slippery when using soap or shampoo. Instructions for laundry, trash removal and heat were clear and concise. The decor was very interesting and eclectic and was flooded with books!

The house was a perfect space for my family for a ski weekend! It was comfortable for adults and our small children. The host was very easy to work with and the house had everything we needed. We will definitely make a return trip!

Self check in was easy and effortless. The home is beautiful, out in the country, very serene and relaxing, complete with stream nearby!

Everything about this house is ideal! The rooms are meticulously crafted. Two wood stoves to keep it cozy and books everywhere! The common space is large enough for everyone to gather for food and drinks and spending time together, but there are also sitting nooks throughout that you could have some solo time as well. The property is magical with a big green space that goes right to the river's edge. We hope to be returning in the future!

What an amazing house. It was like staying in a library, there were so many interesting books everywhere you went. Multiple seating options so people could spread out. Very comfortable beds, plenty of towels. Contact was excellent. One of our group of 7 is a wheelchair user and the accessible accommodations were excellent! Highly recommend this house if you have a family member needing accommodations. Big flat yard, lovely stream the length of the property to sit by, fire pit. No neighbors to speak of. Thank you for a wonderful vacation, we would love to come back! Great locations to explore from; we visited Melville house, Susan B. Anthony birthplace, Historic Deerfield, Mt. Greylock, Clark Art Museum, Chesterfield Gorge, Hawley Bog(never seen so many pitcher plants!), Mass Audubon.
