Enjoy beautiful hilltop views of the Sierras when you call Ranchito your home away from home. Shrouded in the warm California sunshine, this home has it all! The large backyard boasts a private, turquoise pool, a gas grill, a veranda, and ample seating. When you can pull yourself away from your own little paradise, check out nearby Capay Open Space Park, Yocha Dehe Golf Club, or one of the area's wineries, or restaurants.

Ultra comfortable and boasting all of the amenities you need, the inside of Ranchito will welcome you in with open arms. The cozy living room has ample seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a large TV. When you aren't dining out, the old-school reminiscent kitchen boasts plenty of meal prep space and a full suite of appliances.

With four bedrooms to sprawl out in, rest assured that everyone will have the space they need. Before bed, throw your vacation garb in the private washer/dryer, engage in a board game night, and gaze up at the dazzling night sky.

We rented this place to Fish at Lake Barta. Plenty of room for parking for two bass boats hooked up to trucks. Nice quiet area all by itself at the top of the hill. Perfect for what we needed.

When we have to do our charity events in NORCAL, we always stay here as it is close, convenient and a decent peaceful place to stay. We'll be back in the Fall.

I’ve visited a few times and love the beauty a serenity of the location. I hope to come again.Note to the property manager: the refrigerator was barely working and may need replacing; the first bedroom’s fan was not working and 2 lights were burned out. 4 light in the hall bathroom were burned out; and the bbq is not safe to use and should be replaced. Just a few things that need attention.

Thank you for the constructive feedback. We appreciate your comments and worked to improve the amenities. After your stay, we replaced the refrigerator, replaced lightbulbs, and cleaned the Weber propane BBQ grill. The first bathroom fan is on a motion detector, so it may take a few seconds to turn on. We verified its operation recently. We hope these actions will address the issues and that you notice the improvements on your next potential stay.

We loved the front and backyard, but the pool was in unacceptable condition dirty, unmaintained, and unusable. This was especially frustrating because the pool was advertised as a key amenity and included in the cost of the stay. Additionally, the check in email was missing gate access instructions, which made arrival more difficult than it needed to be.Overall, our stay was pleasant, but if the pool is going to be advertised as an amenity — and included in the price — it should be clean, maintained, and usable. Since we were unable to use the pool at all, I’d like to request compensation. I have photos and videos available if you’d like to review the pool’s condition when we arrived.

We are pleased to hear that you loved the front and backyard and found your overall stay pleasant. We strive to provide an enjoyable outdoor environment for all our guests. Regarding the pool, it is professionally maintained by a contractor every week, including a service visit just four days prior to your arrival. Because the property is located in a rural area, wind can occasionally carry debris into the water. We provide an automatic pool sweeper and filtration system to manage this between professional cleanings; while some surface debris may appear, the pool remains treated and fully functional for guest use. We appreciate you bringing the gate access issue to our attention. We have coordinated with our partners at Evolve to ensure gate instructions are clearly included in the arrival details. While we are always available via phone or text to assist, we are using your feedback to ensure these details are proactively provided to all future guests.

The views from the house were amazing! We could see snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains. We felt we could also be viewing the rolling green hills of Italy with the Cypress trees surrounding the property. We had a little trouble with the front door lock when we arrived, but Victor from Evolve came to the rescue in 5 minutes. He was so nice. The house is an older home and could use a bit of tlc in the bathrooms but it worked. Beds are comfortable. Maybe a new coffeemaker would be nice. It worked but it gave the coffee a bitter taste. All in all a great stay. I would like to come again and bring my two small dogs. They would love all the safe running space. The 200 fee for pets seems steep. Humans can do more damage than pets. Thank you for letting us share your vacation home.
