The Ridgewood House is a historic Jersey Shore Inn built in 1873, located in beautiful Sea Girt, NJ. The property is in a perfect location featuring a wrap-around porch with beautiful ocean views, a well-manicured and landscaped property, and a sprawling estate walking distance to the most beautiful beaches in NJ. This listing is for the "Royal Suite," a private 2-room 1 bath suite on the 1st floor of the main building. The suite features a king bed, queen sofa bed, full bath and private porch.

The space is a 2 room suite, plus a private kitchen. The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a queen sofa bed. The 2 rooms are separated by pocket doors. There is a full bath and access to an outdoor shower in the back yard. There is a private porch with private access. The suite comes with a private kitchen, which is located just down the hall on the 1st floor.

3 Sea Girt beach badges are included during beach season.

I enjoyed my stay for the 2nd time. This time, it was just me and my dog. Love the suite.Only issue is the sound. In the bedroom area only, above, you can hear heavy walking for several hours. I need to wear ear plugs at night.Looks like the guy with the cigar is still there, but at least I did not smell it inside the lobby. Suggedtion, he should GG o around the patio to smoke.Also, a sign should go up explaining the southside of the patio is for the suite only. I woke up one day to someone rearranging my table. LolThe location is perfect, facing the ocean also close to Spring Lake.I would suggest in the future replacing the green covering on the patio, with maybe pavers or cement, since the green carpet is outdated, unsanitary and sometimes smells.Other than that, the owner is a really nice guy and very accomadating.I will most likely stay again next year.

Perfectly situated one block from the beach, this immaculately groomed property is the perfect blend of historical charm and modern convenie ces.We stayed in the Royal Suite for a quick off-season stay and it was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, clean, well furnished, and beautifully decorated. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating.One last note - they are pet friendly and Sea Girt and neighboring towns have lots of pet-friendly options for dining. Beach access for dogs seemslimited to the off-season, which worked for us. Highly recommend 10

Beautiful suite in historical home. Great views of the ocean. Very clean and nicely decorated. So many places to eat nearby. We had a relaxing time, while enjoying the porch. Nice people, also. There are many steps to access entry into the house. That’s just for anyone with a disability.

My second home

Trying to find a comfortable, affordable place in Spring Lake, NJ, where you can bring the dog along, is far and few between. I was lucky enough to find a suite in Sea Girt, with an ocean view, with a porch and lots of windows, to celebrate my birthday, with our friends, sister, and dog. I plan on returning again in Sept, and again next August or Sept. ProsLots of windowsPorch private accessDog friendlyPrivate kitchenViews of the oceanBeach badges ConsThe seasonal guests were very nice and friendly, but there was one smoker, although a nice guy, having to smell smoke in the lobby was not pleasant.Portable Air conditioner unit in the living room was loud where you could not hear TV well. But it cooled the place great. Would high recommend getting Splits.Other than that no complaints, and plan on staying again. Owner, Sean, is a really nice guy

A lovely location, this beautiful historic suite has lots to offer, a peaceful stay; my sister, pup and I were truly able to relax!!! A rare commodity in this day and age!

Sean was great to deal with. Very clean and comfortable bed, bathroom, living area. Kitchen could use a little work but was well stocked. The outdoor porch is lovley but there was only a small chaise lounge and rusty little table- the bigger table and chairs were comfortable. The outdoor rug really needs to be replaced as it smelled of old dog urine. Sea Girt is lovely- the beach is also great. Rule of "NO FOOD ON THE BEACH" is a bit strange- but we will definitely come back.

Ridgeview Inn’s Royal Suite

Very much appreciated the easy, effective entry into the inn and the suite, all of which was explained clearly in the listing. Loved the location, cleanliness, availability of kitchen appliances, pots, pans, etc. ( maybe add a portable hand mixer for baking). Grateful to Sean for being so accommodating and accessible during our stay. We would stay in the Royal Suite again. Thank you, Sean!

Weekend getaway

This place was so charming from the welcoming front porch and sitting room both with ocean front views to the spacious suite and the beautiful landscaping. I highly recommend this place if you ever need a quaint place to stay in the shore area.

Nice spot for a getaway!

Property was very clean and has everything you need for a nice getaway. Host was very welcoming. Our dog was able to stay with us, which was great. He was comfortable as well. Would highly recommend the Royal Suite!

Very spacious

We were VERY pleased with the suite - nice and roomy. We all had space to enjoy unlike other rentals in the past. Our dog is 100 lbs, and even she had room to spread out. Great having the kitchen down the hall - and also the access to the rooms via the porch area. Highly recommend and may do a return trip in the Fall.

Relaxing Weekend in Sea Girt

The suite was roomy. It had everything you could need. Well stocked paper supplies in bath and kitchen. The private kitchen with a full size fridge was a nice bonus. Parking was easy. Had a great weekend!

Lovely retreat!

Ridgewood House provided us with a lovely, quiet, historic retreat on the Jersey shore. Excellent proximity to several coastal towns and excellent restaurants. The Royal Suite was very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. We were grateful for Sean’s hospitality and highly recommend! Thank you Sean!
