The boats and Sea-Doo shown in photos are strictly off limits and are NOT included with the rental. Guests are not permitted to use, access, move, or sit on any motorized watercraft on the property.
Guests are welcome to rent boats or Sea-Doos locally and may use the boat slip/ramp if arranged in advance. Any unauthorized use of owner watercraft will result in immediate cancellation of the stay and liability for any damages incurred.

Guest access
Guests will have full private access to the cottage, dock, waterfront, outdoor areas, gym room and all included amenities during their stay including kayaks, paddle boards, BBQ, and fire pit. The property is completely private for guests to enjoy.

This is a peaceful family-oriented lake community. We kindly ask all guests to respect the property, neighbours, and quiet cottage atmosphere.
Strict House Rules
No parties, events, excessive noise, or unauthorized guests
Quiet hours must be respected at all times
This property is monitored closely due to neighbour sensitivity
Any party, smoking indoors, or major rule violation will result in immediate termination of the stay without refund
Smoking Policy
Smoking or vaping inside the cottage, bunkies, or any indoor space is strictly prohibited.
Any evidence of smoking indoors, including smell, ashes, cigarette butts, or smoke damage, will result in a minimum $1000 smoke remediation and cleaning fee.
Garbage & Recycling
There is no curbside garbage pickup at the cottage.
Guests are required to take garbage and recycling with them upon checkout. If garbage is left behind, an additional $100 disposal/cleanup fee may be charged.
Water & Utilities
Please do NOT drink tap water
A water cooler is provided
15-gallon water jugs can be purchased in MacTier
If water pressure drops significantly, it is likely the water pump breaker:
Go to the back/laundry room
Open the breaker panel
Flip the “Water Pump” breaker OFF and back ON
Laundry Room
A vacuum is stored in the laundry room for guest use.
Please do NOT use the laundry machines under any circumstances.
Fire Pit & Firewood
The Solo Stove is available for use
Please remove the fabric cover and metal lid before use
Return covers only after the stove has completely cooled
Please bring your own firewood
Do NOT use wood from our storage piles
Feel free to use the kindling provided
Firewood can be purchased at Foodland in MacTier
BBQ & Outdoor Areas
BBQ with propane is available
BBQ tools are stored in the drawers
There are multiple outdoor seating areas throughout the property
Please:
Return all water toys, balls, and outdoor items to where they were found
Close patio umbrellas after use
Leave outdoor areas tidy
Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive cleanup is required.
Dock, Lake & Water Safety
The waterfront is swimmable:
Sandy step-in shoreline
Approximately 8 feet deep off the dock
Please note:
The yellow tint in the water is natural and caused by the Canadian Shield
Use of the dock, lake, kayaks, SUPs, and all water amenities is entirely at guests’ own risk.
Owners, hosts, and co-hosts are NOT responsible for:

Slips/falls
Water-related accidents
Use of recreational equipment
Children must be supervised near the water and dock at all times.
Boats & Marina Rentals
The boats on the property are OFF LIMITS.
Guests are welcome to rent boats or Sea-Doos locally and use the boat slip/ramp.
