Peaceful Getaway

The location was set back so no traffic noise. We sat outside and watch the deer n rabbits play, it was beautiful and very peaceful.

Perfect Family Getaway

I loved this house! Perfect for our family getaway, we have family that lives a few houses down, and this made for the perfect reunion spot and allowed for quiet naptime for the baby. We definitely will make this our annual cottage getaway!

Lake House

House is spacious and clean. The views are great. Deer in the yard every morning and evening. Prompt response from owner. Highly recommend.

Peaceful and lovely

Beautiful property that faces Lake Ludwig. Big front and back yards with a large wooden deck in front with lounging chairs for relaxing and watching the deer romp through the yard. Also, there is a fire pit and gas grill to add to the fun. Inside is a lovely master bedroom with rock fireplace, a great living room/ dining room area for gathering, a big screen tv with lots of channel options and a well appointed kitchen. Just down the road is the swimming beach with covered picnic tables. We had so much fun here. Would readily go again! The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Great experience!

Sit on front porch and watch the lake, nice

We stayed to ride bike at the mtb bike trail and ride around the lake. The great part of the stay was hanging out on the front porch, being outside and talking with friends. Very large yard is great. Thankful for flexibility of checkin.

Perfect Stay!

This is our second time to stay here and it was like we never left. The location is perfect for our family who like to explore and fish while also visiting our son at UofO. We love the front patio and even moved the picnic table to the patio and basically stayed outdoors the whole time. Several deer roam the property morning and night. There’s also a great bluff nearby called Strawberry Bluff that is breathtaking and a must see. Thank you Christy for your hospitality. Cheers until next time!

Great Location!

We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of this home near the water with pretty lake views. The house sits far off the road and far enough away to let the kids roam and play. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We have already booked another visit next month.

Wonderful Place!

This house was perfect for our stay in Clarksville! Loved the room for the kids to run around outside and proximity to Lake Ludwig. We had a great time and Christy and her husband were so kind to us!

Relaxing, functional lake house

Lovely view, and peaceful location. Property is comfortably and simply furnished, with all the necessary kitchen kit. The shower is spacious, with a nice bench, but shower head is too low - just enough clearance for my 5’4” daughter.

Spring Break Getaway

This was the perfect "home base" for kayaking in the lake and hiking in the nearby State Parks. The house was just as anticipated. The only thing that would have made it better is some minor kitchen staples, like spices or Pam Cooking Spray.
