Awesome Apt Near Beach - Furnished 2 Bedrooms, Apt #1 Posada Espiritu Del Mar

Relax in the Loreto sunshine, with all of the comforts of home. This two-bedroom apartment is handicap accessible (with a ramp to the front door), and is fully furnished, with high-speed internet, smart television, living room and kitchen, with refrigerator, stove, cooking and eating utensils, functionally equipped to prepare your own meals. Through the kitchen back door is the heated swimming pool, patio with lounge chairs, outdoor kitchen, outdoor gym, and outdoor dining area, and where there is a gas barbecue available for use by our guests.
The master bedroom has an air conditioner (and heater) and has a king size bed, with end tables on each side (convenient for charging your cell phones), a large closet with lots of storage space, a mirror and chest of drawers. The master bedroom window allows for plenty of light, and has a view of the backyard swimming pool.
The second bedroom has two beds: one is matrimonial size; the other bed is an individual bed. It has a window and plenty of sun light, with its own air conditioner/heater. This bedroom also has a large closet with plenty of storage space, drawers, end tables, a chest of drawers, and a love seat.
The bathroom has immediate hot water and high pressure to the shower; the shower head allows you to adjust the stream flow and is detacahable on a hose that allows you to direct the stream flow wherever you please. There is also a built-in bench in the shower (for handicap access).
The living room has a love seat and a convertible sofa-bed which can be made into another individual bed. The television in the living room is connected to Dishnet satellite service, with tons of available channels, including several HBO and ESPN channels.

Fantastic stsy

Hotel was clean and just as advertised. One very small issue with the water when we first got there was taken care of immediately. The insight staff was amazing very helpful and friendly. Location was a short walk to town center and only 200 steps from the beach. You must come and stay.

Our family of 4, with kids ages 3 and 5, had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and well appointed. The bed was sooooo comfortable. The location was great, with a couple block walk to the beach. The central part of town was about a 1 km, easy walk for us. We all enjoyed the pool and exercise area. All around a fantastic stay, but the best part was the hosts. They are such great people and went above and beyond to help in many ways. We hope to be back next year!

Wonderful!!

This is a fantastic place to stay in Loreto! Steve and his wife are very friendly and have created a lovely place for guests to relax. They kindly gave us a ride to the airport. This is a great spot for outgoing morning people, as Steve provides espresso and music at the pool every morning around 8am. We used the bikes every day and took the kayak out for a fun day on the water. The apartment was clean and had all the essentials. The internet worked well enough for zoom calls in the living room and at the pool. You won't regret staying here!

My family (two adults a 2 year old) just returned from a 10-day stay at Posada Espiritu Del Mar. Even before we arrived, Steven and Adriana were going out of their way to ease us into our vacation — not only did they arrange to pick us up from the airport, but they tracked down a crib so that we didn’t have to deal with bringing our own. Their generosity continued once we were there — we were offered coffee by the pool each morning, rides when needed, and just generally warm hospitality. The apartment was clean, stayed cool in the heat, and had all the essentials (including a blender!). Bed was surprisingly comfortable. The pool area is great and fosters a nice sense of community among current guests. Our toddler loved exploring the space and playing with Steven’s dog. The building is just over 1 km to the plaza (restaurants, etc), a bit of a hike with a stroller along unpaved sidewalks, but super close to the beach (4 minute walk).

Checks all the boxes

Super close to the beach? Check. Lots of amenities? Check. Helpful hosts? Check. We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved being a block away from the beach, having a swimming pool right out the back door, and being able to use the guest bikes. A super comfortable place from which to base our Loreto explorations!

Nice apartment.

Nice and clean apartment. Nice tile bathroom with plenty of hot water. The owners live on the top floor and were easy to communicate with and they we responsive to all of our needs.

In 2018, Adriana Macias and Steven Richkind moved to Loreto, Baja California Sur., They purchased a couple of lots near the beach and constructed a brand new apartment building which they named “Posada Espíritu Del Mar.” Translation: Spirit of the Sea Inn. The sea calls to their spirit.

Maybe it was the sunny climate of Loreto, or the experience of swimming in the warm, clear waters of the Sea of Cortez, then getting out of the Sea to lie on the white sandy beach, basking in the sun, or lying in the shade of a palapa, feeling the sea breeze, and breathing deeply the fresh sea air, that inspired Adriana and Steve to finally settle in Loreto and build their home by the Sea. Steve likes singing in Spanish, a famous Mexican song says, “El sol, la luna y las estrellas, en el mar la vida es mas sabrosa!” (“The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars – by the Sea, life is sweeter.”)

Steve and Adriana both practice meditation when they wake up each morning. “What a gift! To be alive and to appreciate being alive with every breath!” Whether they are traveling or hosting guests at Posada Espiritu Del Mar, Steve and Adriana believe that Peace is something they share with the people they meet. Listening with compassion from the heart is so much easier when you are feeling peace; so too is sharing from the heart.

Steve also enjoys playing classical guitar and improvising his own music. He has played guitar for more than 45 years. Steve offers guests free guitar lessons, and enjoys jam sessions with other musicians. The deck on the third floor has a beautiful ocean view, and is ideal for jam sessions, dancing, and parties, They have extra guitars and a set of professional congas. So if you are a musican, or if you appreciate listening to live music, don’t be shy about it when you come to Posada Espiritu Del Mar!

Steve and Adriana look forward to new adventures and making new relationships with all the guests who come to stay at Posada Espiritu Del Mar.
