Wow! Can’t say enough great things about this place. In addition to that spectacular view, it was super clean and comfortable and very quiet, with one of the best equipped kitchens we have had. We loved the hot tub in cool evenings and sitting on the porch listening to the birds calling was so relaxing. We had a hummingbird nesting in the tree by the patio (2 eggs) which, unfortunately, didn’t hatch before we left. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Bonnie, the owner, communicates quickly when needed. We will definitely return next year!

Amazing stay

The location is rural but still very close to shopping and restaurants. We saw javelinas, coyotes, bunnies, chipmunks and lots of different birds. The view is breathtaking of the valley below and surrounded by mountains. The house was just as described and very clean.

Comfortable and beautiful.

Spectacular Mountain Views

This property is a hidden gem with fantastic views of the Catalina Mountains. The house has a wonderful patio for viewing the mountains. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean. My only reservation was the location. The description clearly states that this property is in Catalina and not Oro Valley, or Tucson so just know that before booking. We enjoyed our 13 days here but everyday was a bit of a drive.

Extraordinary view

For us, the most important consideration in renting is being able to be outside and enjoy nature. This home had a lovely, cozy patio with gorgeous late afternoon (in December) extended views of the mountains during sunset. We made sure we had finished our adventures everyday by 4:00 so we could spend an hour on the patio. Otherwise, the home was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked and easy to cook in. The owner was very responsive to any queries. Very happy with this rental.

View, view, view.....

We stayed here for the last two weeks of March. What first struck us is that the pictures do not do the view justice. The Catalina mountains are an enormous backdrop. The outdoor space, and hot tub, focuses on this in-your-face view. There are two fire pits, which we did not use and a small hot tub, just perfect for 2 people. The area is lightly populated, and the night skies are dark and beautiful. You can walk from the house, down into the wash, through Catalina Regional Park and into Catalina State Park, if you were very ambitious. The lot is extremely birdy. We set up oranges, and suet feeders, along with the resident hummingbird feeders, and there was continual action. The house itself is a nice modular. It is very private, and the outdoor space is lovely. The master bed is comfortable and the kitchen stocked. The owner was very responsive.. The location is about 10 minutes from Oro Valley.

Fantastic view and property

Absolutely wonderful home. Great outdoor space, comfortable home. Everything we needed. The owner Bonnie is very responsive and available. Staying for another 2 weeks. Would love to come back!

Beautiful and Tranquil

This is a great rental with amazing views whether you are sitting on the front covered porch, in the hot tub, at the fire pit, or just rocking on the benches on the side of the house. The place is so peaceful and quiet while still just being a few minutes to any stores you will need. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with anything you would need provided. Communication with Bonnie is excellent! She will often respond to messages in a matter of minutes. Now that our stay is over, we wish we were back in Catalina. We highly recommend staying here!
