Our home is conveniently located in the historic Kitty Hawk beach. Many local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and local attractions are nearby. I wish I could give this property a negative star evaluation. Our trip began by showing up and having another family already residing in the home on our arrival after a 9 Hour drive. I saw their phones and they were also provided with the door access codes and all of the check-in information in exactly the same format I had been. Me and my three young children spent 2 hours out in the cold beach at night in November. The owner and property manager were unreachable by both family’s phones. VRBO helped us realize that the other family had booked for the following year. At this point, the home was full of dirty towels, dirty dishes, rearranged furniture, unmade, beds, and even some of their clothes still remained in the home. All three of my children contracted an infection from their hot tub that took a week and a half to resolve with prescription steroids. The day of the arrival, we were unable to purchase groceries because the stores were closed by the time this was sorted and it was the day before Thanksgiving so our food supply was very limited for the first 2 days. The owner and property manager remained unreachable throughout the six days. Rather than own up to her mistakes, she is now charging my family for fictitious damages to her home. I urge anyone considering to stay here to choose a different home. I travel often and this is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had! These are photos of how we left the place.

We came in town for a wedding. This was a nice place to get away and relax. Loved the beach views from the kitchen table and couch. Home was very clean and everything was as described. We were able to see the sunrise 3 mornings which was beautiful. We would definitely come back!

The home was very clean and literally steps from the ocean. We had a family wedding in a nearby town and decided to stay a few extra days at the beach. Beautiful views from the deck to enjoy your morning coffee! Hot tub was very clean as well.

Our group was women in their 60's having a girls trip. The location was perfect. We arrived at the tail end of hurricane Erin and although we couldn't swim, we still had a wonderful time. The upper deck is perfect for sunrise watching and coffee with whip cream. We took a morning to see the wild horses. It was a great time. I highly recommend this place. Clean, roomie enough for our group and the owners were easy to communicate with and helpful in deciding conditions due to the hurricane. We can't determine the weather but Joanna made it possible to determine if it was safe. Had a wonderful time!!

The house was extremely neat, clean, and organized. It is in a beautiful location with the most amazing sunrises. We stayed with two young children and found it very accommodating to their needs as well.

We had a wonderful few days at this property! It was just as listed and is in a great location directly on the beach. Just a short walk up over the dune each morning to the ocean. The morning view from the decks is amazing. Evenings in the hot tub are the perfect way to end the day. We hope to visit again next summer.

Lovely home

This house is the perfect size for about 6 people. The bedrooms are comfortable and there are 3 showers (including the outdoor shower which is in great shape). The house was immaculately clean. We lost wifi at one point and the property manager promptly called us back to help restore it.The kitchen is well-stocked. You will find everything you need. It is a PLUS to have linens and beach towels included. Most especially, the view is AMAZING!This is our 23 year staying in Kitty Hawk, but our first at this house and we would definitely come back!Please note: there are dunes that you must climb to get to the ocean, but that is the case all through OBX in order to preserve the beach. Also, about 4 beach chairs are provided. You will need to bring more if you have 6 guests and you might want to bring an umbrella since it get can too hot on the beach some days.

Can't Beat The Ocean View

Absolutely perfect location right on the beach. Wake up and gaze at the ocean from your bedroom. Have a cup of coffee on the deck and enjoy the ocean view. A climb over the dune and you're on the beach. The house has all a small family would need with a well-equipped kitchen, multiple smart TVs, Wi-Fi, Hot Tub, and Picnic Table. Comfortable beds, included linens and towels made for an easy stay. House was clean and outside road noise was minimal. We would absolutely love to stay again!

Escape to Paradise

This property was better than the description! Beautiful house on the beach that has breathtaking views. Nothing like enjoying a cup of coffee, on a spacious deck, as a pod of wild dolphins swim by. Property manager was very kind and answered any and all questions promptly.

Great location, amazing sunrise

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Sunrise Paradise. The name suits it well. The house was clean and met our needs. I usually prepare a few meals at "home" and found that some of the kitchen supplies (pans, etc) need to be updated. It was a relaxing vacation and the proximity to the ocean was exactly what we were looking for.

Peaceful & convenient oceanfront stay!

We came down to celebrate Mother's Day and had a relaxing trip. The balconies and beach access were perfect for enjoying the sun, and we could get to multiple restaurants and shops within 5-10 minutes. Very clean, spacious and the hot tub was a great bonus! Thank you!
