Our host was very welcoming and the check In and entire stay was very seamless. We really enjoyed the property. There was something for everyone in out group. The pickle ball court was amazing and that was a really big hit with our group. The property is beautiful and everything was clean and felt like being at home.Thank You for a great stay!

Great place to stay. Rooms are large and the place is very comfortable. I loved sitting out on the screened-in porch at night. The pier was also very relaxing. Cute little downtown area with 2 restaurants, DG and a grocery store near-by. We drove over to the casino and had a nice time there too. Secluded - but great for relaxing

Absolutely beautiful and wonderful home to stay in. You actually feel as if you are in your own home!! Mrs. Katherine immediately responded to any questions that I had. The lake and the dock were very peaceful. My family and I loved our stay and would absolutely go back for another visit. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

Weekend stay

We went for a long weekend and were very pleased. Very clean and comfortable with great amenities. I grew up on this lake and due to the family camp being damaged during the freeze we needed somewhere to stay. Worked out perfectly

This was a very relaxing place to stay on the lake. We were able to purchases 5-day fishing license on the DNR website. We were able to walk down to the pier and fish. We caught our supper one night and used the grill to cook them. The house is very roomy and clean. We spent a lot of time just sitting outside enjoying each other's company over cocktails. We plan on coming back next year.

Much needed Lake Weekend

Perfect property to enjoy time on the lake! All the amenities needed and then some! The kid’s favorite was paddle boarding, and sleeping arrangements were perfect for everyone especially the big kids! Property was super clean and kids never got bored. We will definitely will book again!

Awesome lake house

Every time we stay here we have a wonderful family vacation. Easy access to their boat house for our pontoon . They have chairs to sit and enjoy the pier. Ping pong table in outside kitchen/screen room. Beautiful view and friendly owners .

We had a fishing tournament on lake Bruin! This house was perfect. It was clean and had plenty of room for our boats. We will definitely use this house again. Thanks Katherine

Great Place!

Everything was just as shown in photos and description. The home was spacious and just right for our family. We loved the screened in porch with air conditioning for the grandkids to have their own space. The owner was extremely helpful in communicating and making sure we were comfortable. The house was very clean and the the lake is beautiful.

Awesome Lake House

The Lazy Bear Lodge had a very Clean facility, comfortable beds, clean back yard and great pier! This is our second time to stay here. As advertised. We Will definitely be back!!! We brought our pontoon and Jett ski and pier was set up to accommodate them as well. Thank you

Another wonderful trip!

This is my family’s second time staying at this lake house and we can’t wait to come back. I can’t say enough good things about it. Beautiful property and lake, very clean home, well furnished, and excellent host. Large enough to gather together but also space to have a quiet moment to relax. From fishing and boating to grilling and relaxing, there is something for everyone. This is a great property to slow down and spend quality family time. We have stayed at many lake rentals and this property is at the top of our list of favorites.

Very relaxing

The house was lovely and well equiped. We had everything we needed. We were able to fish off the pier and park a boat. It was a very relaxing vacation with plenty of room for everyone. It was great having a grill to cook on we even grilled the fish we caught. We pick up some off Tim's tamales in St. Joseph, they are the best tamales ever. The kids enjoyed fishing and didn't want to go anywhere else. It was a great vacation! Thank you for letting us stay in your house!

We had a wonderful stay here! Great location! My kids loved swimming and fishing off the dock. The kitchen and dining room were perfect for feeding my group. Our family comes to Lake Bruin almost every summer, and we would love to stay here again!

The house is in a very good location with a nice dock on the lake. The entire house is very nice but the kitchen is definitely one of the nicest of all of the VRBO properties we have stayed in. The beds were comfortable and everything in the house worked like it should.

My family really enjoyed the experience. It was so restful. The kitchen is amazing.... the kitchen island was perfect for gathering... the location was fully stocked with everything we needed... the sleeping accommodation was perfect for my family size
