5 Star Apartment

This apartment is amazing, Everything you would need is in the apartment. Fantastic comfortable beds, Air con in each room. Bathrooms great with amazing showers. Great location, a few lovely restaurants/cafe just across the road. Between Old town and Strip. The golf next door is good fun. The pool is small but never packed, great for cooling off. Had a fab holiday.

Amazing property, we were in awe the moment we walked through the door. The property is in walking distance to all the main places. Restaurants , bar , shops on the same area. Great for long stays

Manager Karine was super helpful in getting us settled even when we accidentally locked ourselves out. She was on site in less than 30-minutes. The unit itself was very high quality with modern appliances and decor. The apartment was cool even when temperatures reach 30 degrees. The pool was a welcome dip after a hot day at the beach. Restaurants bars and beach were a short walk with easy access to Old and New Towne. Definitely recommend staying at this location

Just perfect

Property was just perfect, we've been coming to Albufeira for over 10 years and have stayed in some of the best accommodation, this hands down has to be in definitely the top 3 ! .... everything is close to you that you can imagine or need and in a lovely quiet area to get away from it all when needed ! Quick 10 min walk to strip or a lovely 20 min walk to old town, however if your not as nimble on your feet any more there's plenty of transport. Communication was faultless and quick and very easy.... would and will definitely book again...

The bedding and towels where of poor quality and needed to be washed before use. no pillow protector on pillows and a lot of hairs in bed. Everything else was ok.

Strong sewage smell in toilets and bedrooms.

The issue of the strong smell of fecies was known by the owners. Maybe their decency values vary from mine. I personally could not rent a property out to the public with this problem outstanding. It was disgusting.

Air conditioning not working in living room and master bedroom, not repaired till our last day, probably preparing for next guests. We asked our contact repeatedly and did receive a small compensation for our discomfort, luckily the weather was not too hot during our stay

Lovely apartment, if Albufeira is for you.

This is a well designed, quiet and well appointed apartment. It lives up to all the description. It is well placed for visiting Albufeira, the beaches, old town and lively Strip. Nothing is too far away as you find out during your stay. But it does feel as though you are living in someone else’s apartment. There is no cupboard space free in the kitchen for your own purchases. Some of the wardrobes are full of the owner’s clothing and linens, so space is limited. Some lights do not work and the television is set to French channels. If a few changes were made to see it through the eyes of a guest it would be 5 star.

Great location, many opportunities

Super location. Easy to get anywhere - walkable to old towne and the strip. Pub and restaurants across the street. Kitchen well equipped. Large and spacious. The property manager, Karine was fantastic. Internet was upgraded to fibre optics at the end of our first week (we stayed two weeks). It would be helpful to have an instruction sheet on how to use appliances etc. and what to do with garbage (you bring them outside to bins on the street). Would we recommend? Not now … because - there was a major sewage gas issue. We intentionally booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place because one of us was working for half of the stay and needed some private space. The second bathroom had a major sewer/methane gas issue which made one entire side of the apartment completely unusable. Fortunately no one needed to sleep in the second bedroom as it wouldn’t have been an option. We paid more to get the extra space but didn’t get it and had to leave all of the windows open (despite the cold) and that bathroom door closed to keep the smell down. Karine said they will be trying to fix this issue but I’d suggest to verify before booking.

The property itself was pretty good and clean When it was available, there was parking right outside the building and there were several restaurants right next door. We felt the area was safe for walking and it was close to the highways for easy access to other locations. We had everything we needed but there were no instructions on how to use any of the appliances. We are not used to high end equipment and it took several tries to get the coffee machine to work, had no problems with the washing machine or dishwasher but the dryer was beyond our understanding. It would only stay on for about 5 minutes then shut itself off. So we finally just hung our clothes to dry. Internet was intermittent at best. Netflix would not connect to the internet and most days, we would come back from a day out and there would be no internet. Communication with the host/ess was off and on with many hours delay in response. Overall, it was okay but the frustration with no internet would make me look elsewhere for accommodation next time.

C’est un appartement lumineux et proche de tous les services ce qui est un atout majeur lorsque nous n’avons pas d’auto ! La gestionnaire , Karine est accueillante, disponible et rapide à répondre à nos demandes. Une pro ! Seul bémol: une odeur désagréable provenant de la 2e salle de bain.

Tolle, große Wohnung in guter Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und groß. 2 Schlafzimmer mit separatem Bad. Vollausgestattete Küche und großes Wohnzimmer. Nette kleine Balkons. Einziger Vermutstropfen ist die doch recht laute Straße, welche jedoch bei geschlossenen Fenstern kaum zu hören ist.

Lovely property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location, easy walk to the Strip for the younger adults in our group, as well as to the Old Town and beaches. We would suggest as a previous reviewer mentioned that the owner removes some of the clutter - there are a lot of chipped cups and glasses and cupboards full to bursting with stuff. Cutlery and crockery is spread between kitchen and dining room and not very practical. In addition, the lights still need bulbs replacing in some areas. Whilst overall the apartment was spotless we did have to clean out the shower plug in the master bedroom. The shower kept flooding as it was blocked with slime and hair - so just a thought re cleaning. The pool doesn't get the sun in the morning but in full sun in the afternoon and lovely for a dip. All that said we had a lovely stay and with two teenage girls it was great to have two bathrooms and our balconies! The host was lovely and quick to respond to any questions we had.
