Great place to stay!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay...so close to The Mad Musher (That has vegan food!) and the park!! It was a great place! Love it! As we were approaching, the neighbors house looked a little scary....but don't let it deter you! Once inside we didn't hear anything.

Very comfortable house just outside tge Algonquin park

Very clean, comfortable house. Located just off highway 60, and just outside the National Park. Very quiet neighbourhood. Kitchen and bathroom were a bit dated, but clean with lots of kitchen items, and towels respectively. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of information in the house relating to the National Park. And stunning wildlife photos on the walls.

Cute home in perfect location

This was our first vrbo experience and was pleasantly surprised at how easy this all was. We will highly recommend this listing to others visiting Algonquin. We were 5mins from the East Gate which allowed us more paddle time vs driving time. The only disappointment - if you can even calll it that, is the river near the house was more like a rapid so paddling it was not possible. But dont stress this the lake is only a minute drive away so really not a big deal at all. Were able to store our boats in the garage overnight. The owner (Stefanie) was friendly and answered our questions quickly. Very clean and comfotable stay.

Great Home Base for Algonquin Adventure

My family of four stayed here in July as a convenient home base for Algonquin day trips. It has a nice BBQ, a decent back yard, and Whitney amenities are all within a couple minutes drive. There are mice, so keep all your food stored out of reach. I'd stay here again, as a home base for Algonquin day trips.

Clean and convenient

We loved our stay. We were looking for a place we could use as a home base, while we explored areas of Algonquin Park. This cottage/home more than did the job. Close proximity to Algonquin Park was a great plus. Use of a full kitchen and laundry facilities, added to the convenience of our stay. The house itself was very clean and welcoming. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax. Access to wifi and a Roku TV was also a nice way to unwind after a long day of hiking. Our check in experience was very easy. Communication with Stefanie was also very quick and helpful. We would recommend this location to anyone. We hope to return to Algonquin Park in December and hope to book this location again.

Great experience

Perfect location: 5 min drive from East Gate of Algonquin Park. We went canoeing and hiking there. The cottage has all essentials, it is very clean and cozy. The public beach is not far away and not crowded and we went swimming every day! Also , we made fires every evening at the backyard. Whitney is a very friendly little town and we enjoyed it. First time in Algonquin

The property was exactly what we wanted for our visit. It was walking distance to water, amenities such as a restaurant, gas station, pharmacy and grocery store. I would definitely recommend it.
