Absolutely stunning from top to bottom, this contemporary gem will be just the place to kick back after a full day on the slopes here in Government Camp! Before heading out each day, step out to the expansive balcony and breathe in that crisp mountain air with a cup of coffee in hand. Entertaining will be a blast with the open layout of the main floor, as the kitchen blends seamlessly into the living area and everyone can reminisce at the breakfast bar while the chef of the group shows off their skills. Not to mention, summer nights can be spent grilling up some tasty snacks on the private gas grill as the sun goes down. Don't worry about leaving the pups at home either, as this retreat is dog-friendly!

What's nearby:
This location could not get better when it comes to Government Camp attractions and outdoor activities. Clip on your skis and walk to the lifts mere feet away to get a taste of the fresh powder at Mt. Hood Skibowl. More skiing, hiking, and biking trails can also be found at Mt. Hood National Forest just five miles away. After a long day of adventure, be sure to stop into the local restaurants and pubs that make this town so special!

Close to Perfect—If Only the Bedding Matched the Rest

Here’s a cleaner and more polished version of your VRBO review:The property was exactly as advertised with a phenomenal location—walking distance to tubing, dining, and shops. The layout was exceptional, featuring a spacious open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area that truly felt like home. Plenty of board games kept us entertained, and the large windows in the living space allowed the kids to play in the snow while we stayed warm inside.The heated pool was a highlight; it was set to the perfect temperature, making a hot tub unnecessary. Parking was also convenient, keeping the cars warm and protected from the elements.Unfortunately, the one major drawback was the bedding, which had a moldy smell—similar to clothes left in the washer too long. This significantly affected our ability to get a good night’s sleep and required us to spend a portion of the next day washing bedding instead of relaxing.It’s a shame because everything else about the house was fantastic, and this issue prevented me from giving a perfect 5-star rating. With improved attention to bedding cleanliness, this property could have easily earned top marks.

Wonderful place, poor experience with property mgmt

This is a lovely appointed condo in the heart of Government Camp. The homeowner has taken extra care on the furnishings and extra conveniences in the home. We were very comfortable staying here. A few issues with the property mgmt (Vacasa). They stated in their email that if were checking in after 10 p.m. (we were) then we should contact them (we did). They told us it should not be an issue and to disregard the notice. Sure enough, we were not able to access the front door and were stuck outside while we tried to gain access. We think the homeowners have a lovely place but the property management could use improvement.

Fun Spring Ski Stay

This home provided a convenient and comfortable stay for our family while we skied at Timberline. Ski Bowl had closed the day before we arrived, which was a bummer, but Timberline was a close, easy drive. The key code we received to enter the condo was incorrect, but we called customer service and it was easily resolved. We would stay here again!

This is a very clean and updated condo. The kitchen and great room provide plenty of space for a family. It is located within walking distance of Govy for restaurants. It is within walking distance of Skibowl East and only 15 minutes from Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows. I would recommend this to family and friends!

Golden Poles

Fantastic location, great layout and facilities. All good until we noticed all the cabinet handles in the kitchen were sticky and found some cups with coffee dried inside and down sides plus flatware had food residue on them. Figured the cleaning people didn’t check if dishwasher was run and put them away thinking they were clean. We will definitely stay here again but will check handles, dishes and flatware next time before we use them.

Great Spacious Condo. Beautiful. Couple of housekeeping issues

This is a wonderful spacious and comfortable condo in Govy and I would 100% stay again. A couple of things were frustrating but more to do with Vacasa housekeeping/management not the condo itself. - TV did not work properly/Remote was not functioning, no spare batteries if that was problem, just did not work - called about this, chatted with Vacasa no one even called back, we were hoping to have people over to watch Sounders game and could not. - Old coffee in coffee pot. No ground coffee available, had to go buy some, isn't it expected to have coffee in a vacation rental at least for first day? There were K-Cups for Keurig hidden in a box in cupboard but after setting up, the Keurig didn't operate. - We got there right at check in time but condo was not ready and we had to wait - And under bed in one of bedrooms was a bunch of stuff maybe from previous guests. Again, actual condo was fantastic.

Spacious and great layout!

We had two families, four adults and four kids plus one dog. We all fit comfortably and had everything we needed. Location was perfect for skiing at Timberline and steps from Cosmic Tubing. Would love to stay for a future visit!

Fabulous condo!

We loved our vacation in the condo! The kitchen was spacious and well appointed. Interior design is very NW Mountain w/ Pendleton throws and bedding and super comfy beds. Location was perfect - quick walk into town and very close to the ski resorts. We had a wonderful stay and will be back!

Fun summer stay!

We had a blast the golden poles chalet 110. It was stocked with all that we needed for a quick getaway and so close to fun things to do! It was very clean and had all that we could ever want in the kitchen. Thanks and we will be back.

Summer Ski trip to Hood

I stayed at the Golden Poles last year and had a great experience, so this year I booked the same location and found this unit (I was traveling with a different group) and it was perfect. There are many sleeping options great for groups with kids. The kitchen is totally outfitted.
