Character house in the old town of Antibes adjacent to town square
Downstairs has large open kitchen/dining/lounge plus a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet
The kitchen has a new induction stove and oven plus a washing machine and dryer
There is a split system air conditioner and tv with cable
Upstairs is a large double bedroom with queen bed desk a large wardrobe and chest of drawers and air conditioning
The second bedroom has a bunk bed with double at the bottom and single at top plus a desk wardrobe and chest of drawers
There is a small third bedroom suitable for a teenager with a single bed
There is air conditioning upstairs and wi-fi throughout
Very convenient to work from home. We have had many students stay with us from around the world.
The house is 5 minutes walk to the beach and within 5 minutes walk are over 30 restaurants and cafes
Also a variety of shops and supermarkets with parking close by
The train station is 7 minutes walk
All this convenience but still a quiet street
A great place from which to explore Antibes and the Riviera
9 minute train ride to Cannes
30 minute train ride Nice
Fast train to Paris also available - 5/6 hours

Wonderful family holiday

A perfect base for a wonderful holiday. Comfortable and all of the essentials our family needed. Fantastic location. Great communication with the owner and key holder. Loved our stay, we'll be back!!

Antibes

Great location but parking is not close and can be expensive. We were not aware that old town Antibes is closed to traffic so the check in process was a bit difficult. I Chen came and found us and led us to the unit. That said it was a super place from which to explore Antibes.

Great location, adequate apartment

The apartment is in a great location, off a quiet pedestrian only side street, but close to everything. There is AC in the main living area and the bedroom with the larger bed, but none in the bunk bed room or the third small bedroom with a twin bed. Those rooms with no AC get hot, and we kept doors open, window shutters closed, and fans going to try to allow the AC upstairs to flow into the rooms (but it did not really work, even after a few days). The property isn't super well maintained with all of the dressers broken, no working light fixture in the toilet room (separate from the sink and shower which did have lighting), empty hand soap in the bathroom, etc. all of which wasn't a big enough deal for us to have to ask them to come and fix things in the middle of the stay, but should have been addressed before we arrived. Seems like from the wording in the listing it is used as a study abroad apartment, and seems to be well suited for that, but maybe a little less adequate for a family. Still, the price was less than other listings, so I wouldn't have expected luxury furnishings. Overall, we found it adequate, the location was good, but we'd probably try to book something else for a family stay if visiting again.

Ideaal gelegen

Huis met charme, ideaal gelegen. Dicht bij het station, bij de winkels, bij de haven,... En toch rustig. Voorzien van goede airco in de leefruimte en de 2 slaapkamers. Goed functionerend internet. De bedden waren comfortabel en met verse lakens, helaas tot daar de netheid. In de kast zaten potten en pannen en bestek die niet afgewassen waren, alsook de bakplaat van de oven en er was schimmel aanwezig op de voegen van de douche en badkamerdeur. In de zetel was veel zand aanwezig. Heel jammer. Verder vriendelijk ontvangen en de persoon die het huis op orde brengt was direct bereid om de problemen op te lossen.

Hi. We are a family of 5 from Australia. We fell in love with Antibes and bought the house as a rental and holiday venue for our family. We love travelling, particularly Europe. We were lucky enough to live in the house for two years and for the kids to go to school in France. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to do it again one day.

This house is in the middle of everything. Shops, restaurants, cafes bars and beaches.
The house is full of character but with all the amenities a traveler needs. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and over 30 restaurants. Antibes is the perfect place to explore the Riviera. Close to all the major towns and Antibes has the best sandy beaches. It also isn't as busy as Nice and has a lot more character than the glitz and glamour of Cannes. Although Antibes attracts a lot of tourists, it is not as crazy as St Tropez or Monaco but they are both also good day trips from Antibes.
